VR Cover PU Foam Replacement for Samsung Odyssey Plus (2 pcs)

With this I can wear my VR headset for a few hours without discomfort. It's fake leather, so its easy to wipe after each use to keep clean compared with the original face cushion. But being fake leather it will start to peel after time, depending on how much use it sees. Mine last a few years before needing replacing, I like that it comes with two pairs.

The Samsung headset these are designed for is a bit older and kind of heavy, so upgrading to this padding has made a world of difference. I no longer have red imprints from the original pads pressing all of the weight into my forehead, and can wear the headset longer without discomfort since it squishes and more evenly distributes the weight over my face. My only regret is that I didn't buy them sooner.

Difficult to get into the headset, and it will never fit perfectly like the factory cover. However, extremely comfortable. No more red bar on my forehead after a long VR session. Almost eliminated light bleed, but not completely. Does get a bit warmer than the factory foam though. Not bad though. I typically play seated simulators, not high activity games like beat saber.

Some reviews have said this does not fit the Samsung Odyssey + well. I can't figure out what they are talking about. It fits mine like a well fitted glove. I have purchased one other after market foam replacement, it was cloth and I do not remember who made it. It was well made, but not as well made as this. If you are still using the pad your Odyssey + came with, you would be crazy not to buy one of these. The improvement in comfort can not be over stated.

I wear glasses and my Samsung Odyssey was a real pain to use because it sits too close to the face. The first thing I did was get prescription lens inserts from VROptician. They work great but the headset was too close to my eyes because of the bad foam. Then finally I got this product that is bigger and better padding. Now the headset is totally comfortable and not smudged against my eyes.

Way more comfortable than the stock foam. Always wanted these and my TrumpBucks allowed me to buy em. Worth the price since now I got to try them.

I'm on the fence as to whether or not this was actually designed for the Samsung Odyssey Plus. It's definitely got the right general shape, but it's obvious right out of the box that it's about 10% too big. Maybe at some point they were shipping something different, but what I got needed to be forced into place, sticks out every side by about a centimeter, and causes the nose guard to pinch down. On the other hand, it does block out more light, it's significantly easier to clean, and the way it rebalances the weight of the headset alleviated an issue I had with forehead soreness from the headband, so despite the issues it was worth it for me. All things considered, it could probably be cheaper.

Comfortable and helps to block more light from entering the eye area. They do eventually start to degrade (surface starts peeling away) after a couple of years but you get two covers in the pack, so overall they last a long time.

I need as a formal replacement and also to keep clean. Mask I got from supplier is very good quality, perfectly fitting and also cleaning is easy. Price for 2 masks is good especially when in package is also cleaning wipes.

It's softer than the default provided by Samsung but it's going to make you perspire a lot. Recommended to wear a sports headband with this to absorb perspiration.
