I have not had a chance to try it yet. But it would be useful to see photographs of the various structures in their entirety.

Some good ideas I wish had been fleshed out
While I have no doubt the author has a flourishing garden and his ideas are really interesting, he provides no illustrations and his explanations of how to build and use a bottle garden are scattered and incomplete. There is a plan for what to plant at the very end of the book but the descriptions for what the garden should look like is a 2 dimensional plan--while this is a 3 dimensional garden. I'm not sure whether the bottles are supposed to be attached to each other and if the tomatoes are growing from the bottoms of the buckets or if there should be support for the peas of if they just dangle or what. There is no instruction as to how many holes to cut in the bottles or how to attach them to each other. He mentions the easiest way is to attach them to plywood--but how? Mount them some way that doesn't tear the plastic?I like these ideas and I wanted to like this book but it's just too rough to use practically. The voice is rambling and disorganized and he uses a lot of introducing ideas and then dismissing them because he's not sure if that would work or not. I think an editor would do this book a world of good and I hope to read it once it's been refined a bit.

Growing your own food at home
This has given me some insights into how I might grow my own food at home in a very limited space. He has some good ideas that seem easy to use.

Sounds great
I hope that I can apply these ideas when I move into my new house this month. All of this sounds great and I can't wait to get them in place.

Unless you have experience building 4' gardens, don't buy this book. The diagrams and instructions are confusing.
Good things:1.This book is 26 pages so it will only take a day or so to read.2.The first half of the book is informative as it discusses the basic blueprint for harvesting.Bad things:1. This information can be easily found on the internet for free and is not worth the price of the book.2. The directions and illustrations for actually building the inside and outside garden boxes are absolutely horrible. The diagrams are difficult to see (poor photo quality).3. The author although he says otherwise, expects you to have a high level of experience with the building materials and the construction itself. I am handy with tools and can easily build a box with the tools I have at home; however, I couldn't follow these very confusing instructions. The 4 Foot Farm Blueprint was disappointing.

I am coming to recommend this book
I actually have a 1 acer garden our family farms, butt I fond sum of good stuff in this book that I am going to apply next year . What I am truly exited about is sharing this book with friends and customers that live on smaller pieces of land that are often envious of our ability to live more sustainable , now I can easily send them to this book . Thank you

Little info for the price!
Little info for the price! 50 pgs with some pictures. Nothing I didn't know or couldn't find with google. Nice little instructions on how to build a hydroponic wall but again "google". I should have read the reviews. What a waste of $20. If you know nothing about 4 foot gardening, and want a little knowledge in an hour of reading, this is the book for you.

Hard-to-follow instructions
Too specialized for me. Probably a good little manual for anyone good at making things as opposed to growing things! Oh, and for anyone with easier access than me to American stores... Just not what I was looking for, I guess.

There are better books out there
What a rip off. For £11 I would expect more than a pamphlet.

not worth it -
buy the Four Square Foot Garden instead - lots more info and How To pictures - this book reads like a stream of conciousness with very little value
