SertaDreamlift Bakersfield Sectional Sofa Bed, Steel Grey

I am so happy with this purchase but. It quite as happy as our son!! For reference, he’s about 5’tall.We just got the couch today and put it together in about 15 minutes. It was super easy with one minor exception. There are slits cut into the bottom fabric of the 2 back pieces. The black brackets on the bottom pieces slide into these slots. After we figured that out it was smooth sailing! The legs screwed right into the couch, no problem! The couch came in one long box for the ottoman and one shorter, wider box for the couch. We have a small, narrow entrance but we were able to get it in our basement with just a little finagling. The couch is firm but not uncomfortably so. It feels like it will hold up over time. It’s medium gray with a bit of a sheen to the material. It says it’s liquid and stain “resistant”... I’m sure our son and his friends will test that out soon!

The couch opens to a double bed. The couch has a storage area. The cloth covering the couch is nice, but not great. It is not a soft couch to sit on and you feel every seam between the various sections of the couch. These seating area is hard.The couch that was sent to me.... the arms will not attach properly. There is an upper "sliding lock" and 2 bottom "sliding locks." The top contacts/ locks do not meet so, you cannot secure the arm to the side of the couch. It is holding on for dear life by the bottom connections. I am not able to connect the arm and the body of the couch. Really. I've tried loosening each attachment piece (to make them closer to each other) with no luck.Now, it is my fault that I did not return in immediately, however the delivery company was less than helpful. I'm getting rid of this couch.

I’m sitting on my new sofa made out into a bed with my grandson and watching Aristocats. My grandson was absolutely amazed when I pulled out the bottom to create the bed (he’s 2.5 years). Just for that alone I’m happy with this purchase!This was incredibly easy to put together. I sat aside 4-5 hours to set this up but my husband and I were done in 45 minutes. The fabric is sturdy and easy to clean pet hair off of.This arrived on time and in 2 giant boxes. The part that make into a bed is already put together. No tools needed!My only worry is (hopefully) temporary. This is a VERY firm couch/bed. I know couches tend to break down after a while and I’m hoping this is the case. I’ll be sleeping on it tonight with the adorable grandson but I’m not looking forward to it as it’s pretty darn firm.Again, hoping it will soften up over time.Aside from that, I’m extremely happy with this purchase!

Good couch. It came with a small tear in one of the arms, but the seller was kind enough to send a replacement. Pretty comfortable and functional for the price. I wouldn't sit on the pull out portion, though. I don't think it's meant to hold a person's full weight. Had it for about a month and it seems to be holding up pretty well. It's a good couch and I'm happy with the purchase

Love this sofa! I was very leery of buying such an expensive and big item over the internet. I cannot express how happy I am with this purchase. It came in 2 different boxes on 2 different trucks but on the same day. I had it shipped to my work. With that being said - once we got it home, we opened it in the garage and carried the pieces into the house. It took longer to unpack it then it did to put together. Very easy to put together - I would say less than 15 minutes. I put it in a spare room and have had guests sleep on it. I would say its closer to a double bed then a queen. However, I think if you took the back off it would qualify as a queen. Comfortable enough to watch TV on. However I did buy a cheap mattress topper to put on top when using it for a guest bed. Guest said it was very comfortable to sleep on. Would definitely buy again and would recommend!

Buying a couch online is a risk for sure, and many reviewers noted that this is a hard/firm couch. That is definitely true, but we are really loving it. If you are looking for a couch that you sink down into, then certainly look elsewhere. But we wanted a firm couch and could not be happier. We've only had it for a month or so, and don't use it every day, so hopefully it will stay firm over time.The storage under the chaise is so convenient, I'm continually happy that I made getting a couch with this feature a priority. And it's so easy to move the couch into and out of "bed" mode, which means we actually use this feature ALL the time (as opposed to the sleeper couch we replaced, which required removing all the cushions). In fact we've been leaving it in "bed" mode most of the time, but it's literally a few seconds to change it back into a "couch" when needed. We're really happy with the purchase!Maybe worth noting that I put it together myself (5' 7", 140 lbs) and that was challenging, but ultimately doable. I found it tricky to get the different components to slide down into the track by myself, but I'm sure it would be much easier with 2 people.
