Spotless Stainless Marine Rust Remover and Protectant - 16 Ounce (Pint)

We were looking for an “easy” way to clean and polish the stainless on our boat. Spotless Stainless was recommended to us by some friends because of its ease of use. We couldn’t agree more! It’s such a great product, and so easy to use. When I first ordered the product back in June 2026, UPS “lost it”. I immediately contacted MyBoatStore who quickly & politely responded, and sent me a replacement. Almost two months later, the “lost” order was finally delivered. I reached back out to MyBoatStore to let them know I received it and again they quickly responded and so generously offered for me to keep the order for my troubles. Bottom line, I would definitely order from MyBoatStore again, GREAT customer service (thank you, Greg!), and I’d also buy this product again.

This stuff works really well on sailboat stainless fittings and lifelines.

This product works great and does not take the finish off. I have a ss ladder (2) on my boat that got rusted even after washing regularly. Surface rust. This product took two applications of 30 minutes and a little wipe, ladders like new. Thank you!!

Works really well, but requires a fair amount of water to rinse off, particularly if allowed to dry in the sun. Expensive, but worth it.

Overall great product. Left on for a good 30-40 mins and reapplied on the areas that were the most rusty. Easy to apply and rinse. I scrubbed a little on some of the tough stains and some didn’t complete go away but again overall great product. Very pleased.

Works great

I like Brasso okay, and really like Barkeeper's Friend, and sometimes use Ospho on mild steel, but strong citric acid is the bomb for addressing rust on high quality stainless steel. It's not quite a miracle solution, but is the best I've found yet (and is much less dangerous to my nicks and cuts than oxalic acid). Practical Sailor magazine turned me on to this -- they got it right. (Note: While I could get it to pass through a spray bottle, I quickly found that applying with a paintbrush is the way to go and clean up is very easy. Keep it wet/damp until you are ready to hose it off--don't let it dry on your SS fittings.)

I used to purchase this at the boat store for close to the same money; this stuff is perfect. I had a sailboat at the dock near the ocean and used this to remove all of the rust that appeared on the stainless steel rails and other areas of the sailboat. It does take some time to work, but if you have the time there's nothing like it in my opinion. The real key is keeping it moist so it can do the job. I suggest a spraybottle of water for that purpose.

Buying from Amazon Aust is better value than buying out of the US, this stuff is just magic for SS fittings on a boat.
