Definite a must for game room. Allows you to plug in a ton more
First thing i will say is to be aware this DOES NOT work for plugging in one HDMI device to five HDMI monitors. This allows you to plug in five devices into one HDMI television. That being said this HDMI switch is relatively a good device to have IF you have more than three devices. Honestly if you are only plugging two or three you can get a different one. For me I really like to have the extra ports as I have a few gaming stations that I want to plug in and this works great for my new 4k televisions. Please note that this will work with any TV that has an HDMI port on it. The one thing I really like about it is that it has a small remote to make it easier to switch between HDMI ports. The remote is very basic however I am not a fan of the white. It gets noticeable dirty over time and I have only had it for a few days. It also has to be in line of sight in order to work with the HDMI switch. The remote runs on CR2025 battery which most of these small remote controls tend to run on. It has the five additional HDMI ports and they are numbered so you can know which one you are plugging into. Note that one of the HDMI ports is actually on the side. Be careful not to mix up the output and input as they are on either end. It will last for quite some time considering you only use it to change the HDMI channel and that is just one button pressing at a time. You can either scroll through the channels or select the channel you want. There is a button on the device itself if you are close by so you can just adjust the HDMI port number on the device if needed. It requires a power plugs (USB Power will work) to power it which I do recommend using. If you try to run it without it, it will either not work or shut off randomly as it tends to be a bit low on power. It does not come with a power brick so you will need to buy that if you do not have a usb port on your TV to plug it in. I recommend using the television usb if possible as it really does limit the amount of outlets you take up. The picture quality does not seem to be changed at all or least I did not notice any changes. It provides my 4K tv the same quality if it was plugged into the TV directly. I am able to plug additional game consoles to my television which is awesome. I have multiple gaming consoles I wanted to plug into my TV without needing to switch it out all the time. It also does not come with an HDMI cable so you will need an additional HDMI cable from your TV to the switch. It can provide you up to five additional ports. The one down side of having ports on either end is that it is a bit harder to keep the cable management clean. I would recommend if possible to just tape the switch down to the surface to keep it from moving. Overall this product works really well for me and works very well for 4K TVs. I am able to plug in more device into the TV (ps3, xbox one, xbox 360, ps4, and switch) and also it blends in pretty well with my television and stand. I usually just put it right below my TV in line of sight as you will not be able to change it otherwise. The device does not get super hot or anything when in use. It is pretty well built and made of aluminum I will say. There are also small LED light indicators to show what HDMI port you are currently on.

Exactly what I needed
So I have two TVs. One is a smart tv in my living room. Plenty of ports. But my bedroom tv is an old school plasma with only two ports. I have a roku, an android tv, a Kingbox converter and a PlayStation and I was getting annoyed at switching it. My mom had a component switcher when I was a kid so I found this and it works just like it but with a remote. How lazy we’ve become! But it’s great. Exactly what I needed.

BUY IT!!
IT WORKS!!You just plug in the HDMI cables and when you turn on the machine attached to that HDMI cable the switch will sense it and activate that plug. SUPER SIMPLE.It does come with a remote, but I don't really ever see myself having to use it. Whatever I turn on it will switch accordingly. As for the power deal. A lot of people are asking. It runs off the machines its plugged into.BUT, it does come with an a/c adapter. One ends plugs into the switch. The other end is USB. SO either plug the usb end into something that will take usb, or get a wall adapter that will fit with a usb; like any phone charger ever! etc.AGAIN, it works and is super simple!! And you can hook up to 5 things with HDMI!!BUY IT.I'll buy another one if I need more than once switch. I"ll even recommend to my family and friends!

Perfectly satisfied
The device performs as advertised, was easy to set up, appears well put together, ships with lucid printed instructions. I was nonplussed at first that the included power cable terminates in a USB connector—my television, a rather early Sony HDTV, doesn’t speak USB—but as other reviewers have noted, the unit takes its power from the HDMI connection itself, so the cable is unnecessary. Thirty dollars well spent.

Cool, Clean, and NO Power Cord!
This sleek little HDMI splitter is absolutely the sh_t! It comes without a power cord which is pretty interesting but works like a gem.So I needed this HDMI switch for the girls bedroom. It has three HDMI ports but it feels like 10! I was shocked as I stated before that it did not need a power cord. Shocked might be as very strong word but alas shocked. Then I thought how in god's green grass is this little bugger going to get power. One of my colleagues promptly and accurately pointed out that it's future. Well, actually he said welcome to the future-it does not need a power cord it works via HDMI cords. I thought wow!! That's great one less outlet I need to find to plug this bugger in so I was super happy about that!.Does it work? You bet! It works like a charm. Absolutely, no complaints whatsoever. I was concerned again when I first unmasked this gem because it literally has misspellings on it. But as previously stated it works great.I used it for the Roku, Nvidia TV, jailbroken Fire Stick and my cable. The remote really works well too. The remote is IR so take note of that. The product size is 118 mm 63mm 22mm. The support resolution is 4K 1080P 1080i 720p 576i 480 p and 480i.Needless to say it was a hit with the kids. Once they got the hang of it!! I used to use another HDMI splitter but if I'm telling the truth-it was trash. I will not go into detail just to say TRASH! One thing is for certain I am going to need to find some short HDMI cords. I will buy them through Amazon. Shocker! Some of the instructions state: 1. Take an HDMI cable and plug one end into the HDMI port on your HDTV or projector. Plug the other end to the output of the HDMI switch. 2. Take another HDMI cable and plug one end into the HDMI output port on your gaming console. Plug the other end into the HDMI Input 1 port of the HDMI switch. 3. Repeat the above steps to connect your Cable Box, Digital Video recorder DVR DVD player etc.. Note: The remote control uses infrared light signal and requires direct line of sight to the IR remote sensor,. ALso make sure that the IR remote sensor is not blocked.I thought that some of the cool features were: 3 HDMI signal switch to 1 HDMI display device, input terminal can be switched through IR remote control and it can skip the unconnected signal source directly, and yes it has LED indicator function. I also must one be aware of the operating range temp 32 F to 131 F. Another imp factor is that it certainly does support 3D. The company that made it is MROCIOA. So I did a little detective work aka surfing the web and looked this company uyp. It turns out they are a good company that makes other nifty products and they are a ethical company. They are not dirt bags or anything like that. Which is always a plus!
