I bought the black ones and I'm not sure why black visibility vests exist but they were perfect for my use. During a LARP event I wanted a way to signify that people were wearing a different suite of "armor" so I painted these and folks could throw them on over (or under) their usual costume. Then they'd fold down for storage.
