Very Happy with this product
I installed this tire insert on a bike I use a lot for riding around the neighborhood...store and back, exercise etc. Prior to installing the inserts I wasn't getting as much use out of that bike because it seemed I always had to put air in the tires before riding...it got to be a hassle. I also had several flats while riding. Since I've installed the inserts I've stopped worrying about riding ... just go out, jump on the bike and go. It just works! I added air to the tire once, after I had been out of town for an extended trip and came home, Tire was a little soft while I was riding, but it rode fine. Installation was easy. Be aware that the inner tube you use with these inserts is SMALLER than your normal inner tube (the insert takes up room)

Offers good protection
I first installed Tannus on my rear wheel because that was where all my flats occurred. No more flats after that! It worked so well I installed one in the front wheel about a year later. I have experienced no flats since using these inserts and I ride on and off road. The inserts were difficult to install. I managed on my own for the rear tire but I absolutely could not install the tire on the front rim. I got everything in place inside the tire but the last foot of rubber would not go on the rim. I went to my local bike shop for help. The tech needed ten seconds to get the tire on the rim. Ten seconds! I asked how he did it and he just told be he'd been doing it for years. So, don't be put off by the difficulty of installation. Your LBS can take care of it for you.My bike has 27.5 x 2.35" mountain bike tires installed. Some people have remarked that their ride feel changes after installing these inserts. I have not noticed much difference since using Tannus. The wheels are more sensitive to the amount of air in the tubes. I used to run 50-55 lbs air pressure but now I inflate to 40. Some people run less air with these inserts. I have read stories with tires at 10-20 lbs but you will get a more squishy ride at that low pressure. Experiment with different values to see which works best for you. Note: If your bike is going to sit idle for a while (weeks or longer), I recommend you deflate the tires. This will allow the foam to expand back to its original size and the tires will be ready when you inflate for your next ride.I can recommend the inserts. I have nothing but good to say since installing them. They are pricey but I loathe flats and will do anything to help avoid them.

Bought these to take on the Goatheads... so far.. the inserts have won. Worth the money.
I bought these to combat the goathead issues that are prevalent in my area. First off, they got here within 2 days, so that was an added bonus. You need to be prepared to install these yourself because in my experience not many LBS (local bike shop) want to deal with installing inserts. I have some mechanical abilities but had never done anything like this before. I watched video on there website and just imitated the process. It took me about 45 minutes to install both inserts and tubes and then remount the tires. I was not rushing or in a hurry so it may be quicker for other folks.I found the install pretty straight forward ( just followed the video). The only reason why I have given them 4 stars is because the inserts can be a little challenging to get even within the tire so it takes a little bit of finesse after you get tires remounted. They cover how to do this in the Tannus video found on their website. Mine are not perfectly centered and have a little bit of wobble still but they are good for me lol.I would definitely recommend these tires if you ride in an area that is particularly bad with goatherds or flats. LBS should check these out too. These end up being a lot lighter then typical fix (using Mr. Tuffy type lines and heavy slime tubes with slime). I have been a a few rides already and I think they are worth the investment. One more note, pay attention to the tube sizes when you order. The tubes need to be one size smaller and there is a chart that show you which size to purchase (or just call Tannus and ask which size to buy). Additionally, the inserts each fit a large array of widths within a tire size. Be aware, you may need to trim the insert if you have the smaller width tires within an insert's range. If you do need to trim the inserts, they have a line already around the entire liner so it is straight forward to trim them smaller.I dig these inserts and I would recommend them to anyone that is thinking about purchasing them.Reminders: Be prepared to install them yourselves (which I actually found pretty rewarding after my LBS's told me it would be way too difficult, which is was NOT). Take your time then ordering tubes, confirm with their chart. One more nice thing...If you have questions, you can call people at Tannus and they are available to answer any questions. So far, they have been a good purchase.

Hard to install, needs a smaller tube
Seems like a good idea. I have only used them a few times. I will soon start my long cross town commute on the crappy streets of sacramento. Potholes and garbage have been a challenge. We’ll see. I will buy more if these work well and update my review.

Excellent Product! Finally I can ride more than one time on my tires!
I bought this because I live in San Diego. For some reason, our trail weed stickers are very large and tough. They were piercing my tire and tube every time I went riding. It was a real buzz kill when I got a flat tire everytime I went riding. There is a solid 2-3" of foam that acts as a nice barrier to innertube. It also softens the ride a bit. It works wonders, I haven't had a flat tire since!

So far so good
If you sell something on-line to regular folks and then have a caution that the guarantee may not be honored if the inserts aren’t installed by an approved party it just seems wrong. Maybe I missed that up front and if so that’s on me. Purchased these for two bikes I ride regularly and had experienced a number of flats. Did get two flats after the first ride but using slim tubes that was remedied. No issues since with that bike and set up.Installation was not difficult, ride has been good, and just finished a gravel event and will say my confidence in the product is quite high—event had varying surfaces—paved to chunky-rocky, to gravel, to dirt, to a combination and all was well. The ride was nice.Overall happy happy with my purchase.Only hundred miles on each set so hard to rate durability yet.

Great product
Had to return product, found the tubes with slime already in the tube do better but I haven’t tried these yet

Funcionan

Heavy and finicky
I'm unsure if I will continue to use. They were easy to install but had problems with a slight wobble that took a week of fiddling to make go away. Tannus advises to deflate tire after each ride to maximize longevity. This is a pain because it brings the wobble back requiring fiddling around again. They definitely prevent pinch flats. I run around 30 psi and like the plush feel over rocks. The trade off is rolling resistance is much higher. I'm undecided between running latex tubes at 40 psi with tire sealant resulting in faster rolling and noticeable difference in weight when climbing. I'm heavy so if I get pinch flats with my latex setup I will switch back to the Tannus. Tires are WTB 700 x 42c Resolutes

Mejoro mucho el descenso en terracería.
Buen manejo en bajadas . Subidas un poco más de peso pero sirve de mucho .
