Excellent, but plate can sag under weight of Triton TRA001. But easy to fix…
Excellent table, but its thick plastic plate sags under the weight of my extremely heavy Triton TRA001. Easy fix… I bought JessEm Corner Leveling Plates and placed them at the four center points of the plastic router plate. Works perfectly. But you have to be very careful because you prebore the screw holes near the edge. I used the black adjuster screws as a guide. And you have to run the screws and bolts underneath. Can’t have the bolts go through the top. Lastly, secure the bolts in place underneath using 1/4 in-20 lock nuts, so the vibration doesn’t back out your bolt adjustments. https://www.amazon.com/JessEm-Corner-Leveling-Plates/dp/B09S5CDNLM

Overall good, with some QA concerns
So, giving this a 5, but really it is like 4.7 due to some easily remedied by Kreg quality issues. The package arrived in pristine condition. Upon examination, there was a small defect on the back laminate. It looks like the top had been placed on top of a screw. There was not loose hardware in the box so assuming this happened during manufacturing or packing. i decided the return hassle was not worth it. Mounting the t-track should be fairly easy. There are tiny pilot holes, way undersized for the hardware, but they were not 100% aligned with the center of the opening in the t-track. Trying to create new pilot holes would have been risk due to proximity to existing holes. I split the difference in placement, and decided the self-drilling fasteners would find a way through. I clamped the t-track down firmly then used a driver to get the fasteners through the track into the table back. Two of the fasteners were fairly easy, one (where the pilot hole was way off) took some work. In the end, the fasteners went in and the t-track is properly aligned in the slot. Flipping the board over revealed that two of the holes had some pretty serious tear-out. One was perfect. A couple of things. There is no need for these fasteners to protrude out like they do. They could be flush with or below the surface and perfectly serve their purpose, thus eliminating possibility of tear out. Also, the pilot holes need to be properly sized, and properly square. There's no excuse for this these days. Were I to assemble this again, I would chamfer the back surface, and I would open the pilot holes up a small amount. Frankly, this was pretty disappointing and considered returning it right then. After reconsidering, I forged on. I located the correct mounting hole positions for the Triton TRA001 router and drilled and chamfered those on the drill press. I had already acquired the appropriate flathead machine screws for the router, 3/4" seemed just right. I then distracted myself somehow and drilled the hole for the router lift in the wrong spot. Totally my fault. It was a beautifully drilled hole, just in precisely the wrong spot. I drilled another hole in the correct spot, but for reasons, ended up with some chip out on the back of the insert plate. Sigh. 5 for 6. Installing the corner plates was trivial. Levelling the insert is a little funky due to 8 points of contact, but didn't take more than a minute or two to get it right. Insert plate was flat. Still would prefer it be ground flat aluminum. Mounting the Kreg power switch was a little tricky at first but got it done also. I really wanted to build my own router table. I was impatient. While I think it was a good purchase, pretty sure I'd get a cast iron table were I to make the decision today. I would also prefer a metal insert plate. So, satisfied overall. I think Kreg is doing a good job but may wish to review manufacturing QA for some easy improvements. The fence, that's another ordeal.

Close to perfect… but not.
Overall, very nice router table. Large, sturdy, easily adjustable fence. Only negatives would be: 1. Sliding the fence guides along the fence requires a screwdriver. That could have easily been eliminated with better engineering. (Knobs in back are useless without holding the screws in place with a screwdriver in front. Very odd/poor design flaw) 2. There’s gotta be a better way to design the router blade cover. Seriously - everyone does it this way and it’s terrible - also easily fixable in the design room (let me in!) 3. For the price ($600 all in), you’d *think* they could throw in the casters or at *least* the featherboards. 🤷♂️. But no… all accessories sold separately. 😤 None of these are dealbreakers… all in all still a very good router table. Just… they were so close to perfect and then said, nah, good enough. the devil is in the details, right?

Great router table
Ordered this to replace my old router table. I wanted to use the Kreg router lift. The first one arrived damaged. There is not alot of packaging on the corner and it was broke from shipping. Amazon sent a replacement, this one was good and not damaged. There was a bit of assemble but the instructions were clear and easy the follow. Leveling the plate to the table took time, make sure you take your time here and don't rush it. You see once you secure the 4 bolts in the corners it changes the height so you'll need to revisit this several times. I like the top thickness at 1" it's nice a beefy.

An excellent router table
Overall very pleased with the Kreg router table. Well made, solid, purchased it along with the precision fence and the router insert. All three went together well, just as described. I had a small issue with the fence, loosing a couple of nylon glides. I contacted Kreg, their customer service was outstanding, and sent me some extra nylon glides at no cost.

Solid Table for Router
I bought this router table table and built my own base for it. It's a really solid surface and was easy to attach it to my custom base. Probably the only "con" is drilling the holes in the insert plate. The insert plate comes "blank" with no pre-drilled holes, so you have to custom drill holes for your specific router. While I like that this makes the table perfect for my specific needs, this was probably the most cumbersome part of the process. I'd recommend making a paper template of your router base versus using double-sided to attach the base to the insert plate (like the video on Kreg's website recommends). Once I attached the router base, it was difficult to see the pattern lines that you're suppose to use as guides for centering the base. Plus, it's not possible to make subtle movements with double side tape attached. You have to lift the base off and reset it, and you risk moving it too much. Whereas, with a paper template, you can just slide it around as needed and then mark your holes or tape it down, once it's set, and drill through it. Overall, there isn't much to complain about. It's definitely am upgrade to what I've been using, so I'm looking forward to it. I also purchased the router fence and installed that.

Great top. I have seen some reviews saying top was not level. Mine was perfect. Put this on a home made router table and it works great. I added T-tracks and a home made fence. Cant say anything bad about it

This product was used to expand on my router table capacity. I had a kregs prs2100 which was not big enough for my woodworking activities. The new router table top and the addition of the new precision fence creates a precision router table more accurate and with a much larger capacity
