This is the second time I've purchased this set. I love how professional it looks. My school ID can be seen through one side and I can put another card on the other side. Both are very secure in their pockets. My colleagues lose their cards a lot, but I've never lost mine! When we first purchased this set, my husband took badge holder with the retractable reel and I took the other one with the lanyard. We're both still using them, but it's time for me to get a new holder because it's finally started to wear out where the metal attaches to the loop on the holder. I'm shocked it held up for so long! It was abused daily around my neck in the classroom, swinging it in circles while standing still, and passing it to others who needed my keycard. I'm sure this new set will last as long or longer. Maybe until I retire?! Thank you for a great product and the options for how to use it!

Got what I needed. Liked the lanyard holder better but needed it for my pocket instead. So I switched the holder. Was a bit deceived on the pocket one as it was not as sturdy. But managed by switching it. Fortunately it could be switched. But liked the product overall and it was a good price for it.

I just got them, so this is my initial impression. If something goes wrong, I will update it. The material is stitched around the edges of the item and around the window, so hopefully this also means the window will stay in place over time (since it too is stitched in, but it is a thin clear plastic). It's soft enough to flex a little, but not so bad that it flops around without a badge inserted. The lanyard looks okay, but I don't like wearing such, so I'll probably never use that. I will not be carrying my badge in situations where I can't use the clip-on reel. The clip-on reel looks good, and the pull is with enough force that I can be sure it retracts quickly. While I will not use keys with it, it feels like it pulls strongly enough to accommodate a few common keys too. One of the holders (the rectangular one) as pictured is clearly meant to be used when you need to change badges frequently -- the badge goes into a pocket on the front or back, and the loop from the lanyard or reel is not in the way of taking out or putting in a badge. I did not expect to use this one first, as I seldom change my badge and would prefer knowing that it can not easily come out of the holder. The other holder looks like it might have been designed so top of the holder separates (so the holder is a single pocket into which the badge is placed). I intended to use this one first, with the expectation that the badge would go in through this top opening, the opening would be closed by inserting the loop from the reel or lanyard, and then the badge would not come out until the loop from the reel or lanyard was removed. To my disappointment, instead of the top separating, there is a simple slit on the back of this one. Not only does this mean the badge can come out of this one as easily as the other one, it also adds a strong potential point of failure to this holder. I took off a star for this regrettable implementation decision. After all, the loop from the reel or lanyard is easy to remove, so using that to hold the pouch closed would ensure the badge stays in place better, but can still be accessed easily at need, and adding that slit to the back adds an unnecessary weak point as well. Since I thought they already covered the situation where one might need to change the badge easily with the other holder in the set, I took off a star for this. There were some loose threads inside one of mine that I needed to remove or push out of the way so they did not obstruct the badge. Probably just manufacturing remnants... Other than how the badge is inserted and held inside the holder, I think these badge holders will work well enough.

I highly recommend these. My son is autistic and loses EVERYTHING. In fact, I had one before but he lost it. So now I get extra lanyards, spare house keys, and these. I put his school lunch money in it so it's in a centralized place. UNBELIEVABLY helpful.

Product last around 6 months. Both badge holders had the stitching come loose and the adhesive around the border give out. I know it is a sub $10 product but I had higher expectations.

These are good holders and will stand the use of time.

Really good and great length so I don't have to take it out I just have to pull on it quality meh doesn't feel the best but for the price makes sense and good pricing I would say and helps me not lose my compass card like last time
