This is the first time that my child has brought home bed bugs while going to the parks in Orlando. Those pests had 2 months to reproduce before we figured out what was causing the marks on my daughter (after bringing her to a dermatologist who said it was allergies!!)I am now a bed bug expert after about 60+ hours of working crazily in her room and we are 110% bed bug free. First, DO NOT buy bed bug foggers. I used all 3 of these in her small room and when I went back into her room to get the empty canisters, they were all walking around!! Also, DO NOT get the Bed Bug traps to put by the foot of each bed pedestal. They don't capture anything and when her room was filled with them, none went in it!!!THIS IS THE ONLY thing that worked for me. (1) Diatomaceous Earth ("DE") powder with puffer, Harris Bed Bug Killer gallon SPRAY and Harris Egg Bed Bug Killer FOAM (about $9.00). Home Depot actually sells the Harris Bed Bug Kit that contains some of the above so I would buy the kit first. However, I used 4 cans of the FOAM so make sure you buy more foam cans. Since they do not sell the foam cans at the store, order more ahead of time! THAT REALLY IS THE BEST. I also bought and used a $49.00 Hand steamer they sell at Walmart and steamed the wooden planks, mattress and box spring. I then used bed bug encasements that I purchased on Amazon to encase both of them so the bugs cannot go in and cannot get out!! Those encasements really work.Make sure to dismantle the ENTIRE BED INCLUDING SCREWS! The first time I did her room, I just partially dismantled her bed and the first night, she saw more bed bugs. When I took apart her bed the 2nd time (this time everything was dismantled including the feet and all screws), I shockingly found most of the bugs and eggs in the wooden planks, crevices and screws beneath the box spring. I especially saw a ton of unhatched eggs when I took apart the feet to the wooden planks (in those spaces). When I sprayed the foam inside the holes, I actually saw them run out of the holes and die immediately. Also, the foam is the only thing I know on the market that kills UNHATCHED EGGS!! I saw the eggs burst when I sprayed them with foam. I used the gallon spray for everything else such as furniture, luggage, etc.Also, make sure that you re-do the room about 7-10 days to get rid of any eggs that hatched after you cleaned that you might have missed. I just disassembled her room today after doing all of the above and found nothing!!!! Not even dead ones.We were told that to get an exterminator to treat her room (about 10 x 10), it would cost around $1,000.00. However, even the exterminator would not have done all that I did and would have left some around. I guarantee you will be bed bug free if you follow these directions!! Good luck.

Alright, so I didn’t rate it 5 stars for install because it’s a bit of a pain to get such a large mattress (cal king) into an protector that doesn’t zip all around. Not impossible of course, and quite frankly a full around zip might potentially compromise its durability, so oh well.I’m writing this review just shy of 7 years later. Once installed, I never took this thing off my mattress until this morning when it was going to a new home. I always kept a waterproof mattress pad on top of this so that I would have a layer that was easily washable - unfortunately those fail and we were left with some spots on the outside of the mattress encasement.Well, see the photo for yourself… years, kids (spit up, blowout or leaky diapers), dogs, cats (cat yak)… nothing made it through to the mattress and still appears as if new!While the mattress is going to a new home, I’m keeping the mattress encasement for the next mattress and will use these for any other beds I will get!

We bought the twin XL for my daughter's dorm mattress. It fits perfectly.There is no noticable noise from the cover. To be fair, the mattress is a dorm mattress with a weird cover on it. There is a little noise when she's moving and shifting on the mattress but it's slight and could be from the mattress itself or from the cover. It's only noticeable if you are on the mattress though. Based on the textures of the items, my money is in the mattress making the noise and not the mattress cover.I tested the waterproof soft of the cover by pouring water onto the cover with paper towels on the other side of the cover. It remained dry after several minutes.It was easy to put but I did have an extra set of hands because I did have to wrestle with the mattress. You could do it by yourself though if you are stubborn and don't have help.I can't comment at this time on the durability of the cover but it seems very well made. The seams were well constructed and the zipper seemed to be strong. If anything happens to this cover over the year I'll be back to update but this momma is happy with the product and I'm fairly confident it will serve my daughter well during her first year of college. She'll have plenty of other things to worry about this year but worrying about having a middle of the night accidental stain on her mattress won't be one.

I looked at alot of mattress protectors before deciding on this one. The price, quality and durability can't be beat. I'll have this protector for the life of my current mattress and the next and next. I ordered queen for my full 17" mattress, my mattress pad is 4 inches thick and I put it under the protector and also 2 pillows at the head which makes a snug fit. ByeBye allergies, bugs, dog hair and skin cell! Happy Customer I will be buying a few more!

Purchased after having to clean my new mattress because I ended up spilling red wine one night. I haven’t had to test this yet since, but material feels water resistant and was easy to apply other than sort of fitting kind of irregular. Overall would recommend

I purchased this to protect my grandsons new mattress from all he manages to spill, drop, or excrete on it. I've purchased multiple protectors from various manufacturers for many years, I'm raising 3 grandchildren as well as my 2 children and none have been as fluid proof. Thanks for making a tough job easier at a reasonable rate.

I will never go back to not using encasements. This is a great deterrent for anyone with a dust mite allergy. While an encasement cannot prevent dust mite activity, it greatly reduces it and prevents them from colonizing a mattress. I have had severe issues with my dust mite allergy as well as a weakened immune system so I am constantly staying vigilant when it comes to protecting my environment.

Firstly.. This is a weird review.. I didn't use this as intended. But, as a vacuum bag!I thought I would combine this pillow case as a vacuum bag, for a shopvac.. It was a genius idea.. But, the fabric used is woven too tightly for my application.Even though it trapped the dust inside the pillowcase.. There just wasn't enough airflow. The suction was hindered quite a lot..So.. It's actually a very good pillowcase, for protecting the user from dust and mites! But, too good to use as a vacuum bag 🤣Highly recommended (for intended use)

Stitching is to wide and loose to protect from bed bugs...so I said ok I need it so what can I do? I glued the seams than I found where the zippers sewn. Theres a wide gap of fabric overlapping and they didn't even bother to stitch it. I plan on duct taling that section like I said, i need it no time to waste. I can't believe the marketing on this and does crunch!

It fits our Endy mattress + topper nicely, and it fully encases everything. This is good if you have allergies!However, the 10 years warranty is a joke. It has so many exclusions that the only guarantee you get is that the policy won't every payout:- Protector + box spring must have been purchased new, together in one transaction, form an authorized dealer; warranty void otherwise- More than 2 pints of liquid spilled: warranty void- wear and tear, rips, tears or "normal soiling" (whatever that is) are excluded- any damage covered by your home insurance policy is excluded (which means that pretty much any damage at all is excluded)In the improbable event that you emerge with a valid claim, linen spa will either clean, reupholster, or replace your boxspring at their discretion; but there is a final catch: you must return the protector to linen spa on your own dime which will probably not be worth the cost in most cases.Too bad the warranty is a sham because the protector fits well otherwise.

Excelente calidad!! Un poco complicado de colocar pero quedo perfecto, pedí tamaño matrimonial y no tuve problemas en cuanto a la medida, se siente ligeramente plástico pero no hace ruido en absoluto y es súper cómodo al dormir... respecto a lo impermeable en cuanto lo coloque regué una poca de agua a propósito para probarlo y funcionó de maravilla, no la seque al instante me espere unos 10 min y nunca traspaso al colchón, obvio el cubre se queda húmedo un ratito después de secarlo pero nada más... quede muy satisfecha con la compra!!
