Think of Conservation -- Smaller Size is More Practical and Cheaper!!
Update: 4/28/19. I know some buyers have complained that these are smaller than the national brands, but a little advice I'd like to give ... smaller is more practical ... I experimented a little on using a larger size and one of these on the same cleaning task. I cleaned the exterior of two toilets using one of each ... the erasers eventually become smaller and break down as they are used. Yes, you can rinse an eraser out and use it again, but some things you clean, such as a toilet or dirty kitchen counter, and you really don't want to reuse the same sponge/eraser you used to clean it with. Both magic erasers effectively did the job, but I didn't use as much of the larger sponge than I did with the smaller one, and I had to throw both away ... so in fact, I just wasted more of the larger $1 Mr. Clean eraser and though I used the majority of the smaller eraser, I didn't feel like I wasted it. I got my money's worth on the smaller one, not so much with the larger one. The same concept of conservation comes to mind when you think of paper towels, that is why they have those "pick-a-size"" designs .. so that you do NOT waste more paper towels on a mess that a smaller size could easily handle. I spent a few cents on cleaning one toilet and $1 on the other ... which would you prefer? Even if you had to use 2 or 3 of these smaller ones on a job that a $1 national brand one can do ... you are STILL SAVING MONEY in the end when you think of the cost of those 2 or 3. When you become familiar with how much of an eraser you will need for a particular job, you can begin to cut them down in smaller sizes with scissors. Every brand uses the same material in all of their erasers .. "melamine foam" ... some erasers may have different designs such as ripples, have an added layer of abrasive material on top, or even filled with some form of soap. But they are all made of "melamine foam". Trust me, I have used these on countless tasks and have gone through over 1,000 of them and in my opinion, they perform just as well as national brands. The trick is to scrub lightly as to not cause unnecessary crumbling and to always carefully wring out the water ... since their micro-structure is actually harder than glass, they are incredibly abrasive on their own without the need for hard scrubbing._____________I can't believe I was paying an average of $1 or more for just one magic eraser from National and even store brands. Magic erasers have always been my top cleaning essentials .. but because of how expensive they are in the store, I had to use them wisely. But now ... I can use them as much and as often as I want! It is true that these are not as large as brand name magic erasers but when you think of the cost, it seriously isn't a problem. Even if you go through 3 of these for a job that one brand name eraser does, the cost of those 3 is still cheaper. I personally believe these work and last just long as the brand name erasers. These and the brand name erasers are all made of the same material .. and there is a good chance their sources are from China, so they could be made by the same factories (which is also true for other products). Though the shipping speed is longer, I just purchase a a few hundred of these at a time and they will last me for months. When I am down to around 50, I just place another order so I always have them handy. I clean just about everything with these .. walls, counter surfaces, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, appliances, shoes, tubs, sinks, toilets, furniture ... the list goes on. But you cannot clean "everything" with them. Painted surfaces are not ideal since these can strip off the paint with prolonged scrubbing. Some porous surfaces like untreated wood and particleboard can be ruined as well. If you do clean these surfaces, I would suggest using very brief and light scrubbing. If you are unsure, test in a small inconspicuous area first.

Lasted me 8 years - yes they fall apart.
Literally rebuying because I just ran out after 8 YEARS. Yes the reviews are true, they are a little small and fall apart when under pressure. But you are getting ONE HUNDRED SPONGES. For TEN DOLLARS.I just ran out and had to search how long they lasted and it’s been 8 years of grabbing a sponge or two anytime I needed. Biggest problem was not being able to find a place for the absurd amount of erasers you get.The only thing that can get stubborn marks off the walls and miscellaneous objects around the house. Not to mention only went up a dollar in 8 years. I mean 8 years to the month.. for 10 bucks? Insane, I don’t think I’ll ever buy another magic sponge.

Great!
The only negative experience that I had about buying these melamine sponges was the fact that they took so long to get to me. I bought these early April and I didn't get them until early may. However these work fantastically. I cleaned my entire stove using only one sponge. And by entire stove I mean inside the oven, inside of the heating rack at the bottom of the oven, inside of the burner area, I cleaned the burner container things, and even the range. And if it wasn't so disgusting after I got done cleaning my oven I probably could have used the sponge for more than just my oven. Overall these are great value for your money, just be prepared to wait a long time for shipping.

Don't pay a ton of Magic Erasers! They are just melamine foam
I do NOT use these on paint as they can damage my walls but I do use them on my cheap countertops until I get them replaced, it is the only thing that will remove a red stain that doesn't fully come off the older countertops in my kitchen. They are slightly smaller than a brand name "magic eraser" but honestly I like them smaller because I don't waste as much when I use them for small tasks here and there. These are a great price and you can't get better than that for something that is so easy to make
