difficult to feed; not 15mil
It took me about 5 tries to get a piece of this material to feed through an Epson Artisan 830 printer. The backing is rather thick and stiff -- probably necessary to keep the vinyl dimensionally stable -- and the back side (where the printer's feed rollers make contact) is fairly smooth compared to many papers. What finally worked was to gently curl the leading edge of the material to match the curve on the back of the paper tray and move the back guide in from the normal 11" to about 10.5". This sort of fussing is okay for me just printing out some stickers for the lid of my spare notebook computer, but it suggests that you might want to look at other options for production use.I am happy with the saturation of color on those stickers and they still look decent after a week kicking around in my bag rubbing up against textbooks. I did not remember to put any sort of top-coat or spray fixative on them before I cut them out. The finish is decidedly matte, but they don't look out-of-place with some commercially printed stickers.A stack of 10 sheets of this material -- both the vinyl and the backing together -- measures 0.1215". A stack of 10 pieces of the vinyl alone measures 0.0650"; 10 pieces of the backing measures 0.0520. (My micrometer's resolution is only to half a thousandth [0.0005"]; it claims accuracy to 0.001"; the measurements did repeat exactly. Not sure where the missing 0.0045 went.) Dividing by 10 suggests that the vinyl itself is somewhere in the range from 6mil to 8mil, nowhere near the 15mil advertised. A mil is 0.001".That stack of 10 pieces of vinyl does measure 1.55mm, so if they though a mil was a hundredth of a millimeter, that would be about right. But that's not how mil is defined.Amazon jammed the 9-5/8x12-1/8 mailing envelope in which these are packed into a too-small box, crimping the envelope in its middle. Fortunately, the sheets themselves were undamaged.

Great paper and prints great!
Great paper and prints beautifully in my HP Photosmart inkjet printer. It comes out of the printer dry, but I still leave it alone for a few minutes just to be safe. Printed a large black and white image of Godzilla for my laptop and it looks great. For smaller images I use half the page and use the other half for a different image. The adhesive is very strong so it will stick to any smooth surface. When applying, make sure you get rid of the air bubbles. I used a needle to poke the bubbles then I flattened the sticker. I'm using this paper only for indoor use, even though it can be used for outdoors. I made some stickers for my car window which will be displayed inside the vehicle. Since the adhesive side is on the other side. I use a film cling that works great on my car window to display the image. I will make a video and show some of the stickers I made for this review. The paper is matted but smells like vinyl. I use a jeweler's screwdriver, the kind you use to repair glasses to separate the sticker from the backing without any problems. I have a John Wayne sticker displayed on my car window but I had used matted photo paper and used a cling film to display inside my rear side window, It holds well and it rained today, the picture was not affected at all. For my images, I go to Bing web search and get some nice pictures there. I printed many and displayed it on my window in my room, using clear cling film. Every month I will change my car sticker. I was looking at the silhouette cameo machine that makes car stickers and other projects but it's too expensive for my taste. I will just stick to printing my stickers, cheaper that way. I hope this review helped. I did get 20 sheets like advertised and it comes in the same package you see in the ad. Take care.

Excellent product that produces high quality color graphics
When ordering this product I was concerned about functionality with my inkjet printer since it does not have a bypass tray and no straight paper path. These vinyl sheets feed through my printer from the standard paper tray just fine. The printed image is bright and equal to a high quality paper producing high quality graphics. When exposed to moisture (10 minutes after printing) the the ink does not run but does bleed a little bit (it left lightly tinted water off to the side but the image did not smear or blur.) This bleed was resolved by using a clear acrylic sealer spray (2 coats 10 minutes apart then waited 1 hour to expose to running water.)When using transfer paper to transfer the vinyl cut-out the image was peeled off of the vinyl if the ink was not fully set. I found that waiting about 1 hour after printing resolved this problem. The one negative that I have with these vinyl sheets is the lack of a watermark or printing on the backing sheet. It is easy enough to determine the vinyl side (there is a different texture to the vinyl than there is to the backing sheet) but it would be helpful to have some mark to quickly identify the back side of the sheet.

DIY wall decals
Despite mixed reviews, I purchased this product for making my own wall decals. While I have yet to attempt to put the decals on the wall, I wanted to clear up any misinformation. First, there is a front and back to these. If you haven't developed enough problem solving skills to peel an edge to figure out which side is sticky so that you know which way to put it in your printer...look for the matte side (this is the side you want to print on). Second, this fed perfectly and without issue through my HP deskjet. I will go on to specify that this particular printer has a vertical paper feed. Last, no special ink was used and the printing did not rub/smear/distort/etc... The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is the fact that I have not tested the adhesiveness.
