OK, good things first.It works. It holds heavy plants. It's large enough to hold 10 inch high pots, and from a distance it looks OK. It's an interesting, non-boring design. I put it on an apartment balcony, and it's perfect for a multi-level plant stand.Not so good things next.The wood is probably the cheapest looking wood that isn't particle board that the makers could find. It's a cheap, occasionally knotted pine or similar soft wood. It's not good pine, it's lumber-leavings pine. It's low end pallet and crate quality. It is almost as light and soft as balsa wood. The wood quality looks like the maker was sitting there with a bean counter saying "how do we sell this product with the cheapest possible real wood to make the biggest profit possible". Well they did a good job with that.I wouldn't gripe if this cost 30 dollars. But for the price, somebody should be ashamed. Again, it's not bad from a distance and it does functionally work well. But close up it's incredibly C H E A P looking.The instructions are smudgy xeroxes with no text. Because all the parts look alike, be careful about not putting in the shelves in the wrong slots. But it is easy to put the screws in with an electric screwdriver or drill. The wood is so soft that you could probably pound it in with the tip of your tongue (see previous paragraph).So, yes it works, yes, it's good from a design standpoint, in the sense that it holds heavy plants and looks interesting. That would be the 5 star part of it. The 1 star parts are the quality of the materials and the price you are paying for them. So it averages 3 stars.

I looked at a lot of plant stands and went with this one, due to the price. I paid about $80.00 for it and while I think it was well worth that, I would not pay much more than that. It is real wood and very sturdy, which I like. It did not take long to put together which I also like. I think the width of the shelves is adequate for most plant lover's needs. The only reason I did not give it 4 stars is they could have gone with a better color and finish. I do not know how the unfinished stain would hold up in the long run because I retained it immediately, but I would worry that water or dirt from pots might wear it out quickly. Also, the color itself is a yellowish color that I find quite unattractive. With that being said, I spent a couple of dollars and a couple of hours staining it with a dark polyurethane stain and it looks great! I love it!

First thing I noticed when opening the box was the intense smell of the cedar, or maybe it was a preservative it was treated with(?). Either way, it's best to open the box outside. While it went together easily and is sturdy, the color is certainly NOT "warm brown" as stated in the description. It is most definitely "school bus yellow" and quite ugly. If you like the color, go ahead and purchase it, but if you don't have the time to stain it, I'd pass on this one. Definitely overpriced. $35.00 is the most I'd be willing to pay for this plant stand.

This is a nice plant stand, it is a bit smaller than I had hoped. The spaces between the shelves is shorter. I can only use a 10 inch pot shallow style for this stand to use the shelves size efficiently. Product was easy to assemble and has nice material. I will use it as planned and be happy. Do not buy it with the idea it is very large.. it is not.

We put this together easily. I water most days a week with a hose and the wood looks as good as the day we put it together. It holds medium size plants...my tall orchids go else ware. I am happy with it so far.

This is an attractive stand and easy to put together. But the screws didn't all bite in and I had to glue it together. One screw was missing and a couple of the uprights were warped. After I had it together and standing I see there is a tilt to the whole stand and I don't know how to fix that so I will use it as it is.

We like it! Didn't take my husband long to put together and we have it out on our (covered) deck for our plants. It seems solid and sturdy so far, it holds our plants and our cats like to climb and sit on top of the shelves too. Others complained about the color but I thought it was fine! It's sort of a lighter brown or tan color which I think actually looks nice in natural light. If you wanted a darker color you could always re-stain it.

This plant stand suits my needs just fine. It is very yellow but in my window it doesnt really matter. Easy to put together and keeps the plant pots off the window sill.

Exactly what I expected. It works fantastically for my needs. Compared to what I was using before (a coffee table with tv trays on top of it make it look tiered) this is great. It doesn't take up a lot of space in my sitting room, which is a plus because my husband insisted on big furniture.

Liked everything about it except the color, it was a VERY unnatural orangey/yellow color so I stained it. Otherwise very nice

seems just fine. Inexplicable emails rec'd (looks like the machine is taking over), but no issue with the product

Easy to assemble. Very sturdy stand. Colour was not as dark as I had hoped but all in all a very good buy.

Nice plant stand and easy to assemble. Found the colour a bit too orangey than I would like but other than that a great stand.
