Is this smash book ideal for an adult traveler; and does it look cheap?

The backgrounds are more relevant to adults. One of the backgrounds is a romantic moon light dinner, another a metro doorway , top ten things, etc. The pages are thick and of good printing quality. However how your smash book will look in the end is all up to you. Lay your pictures different ways, have different pens, use the colorful accent tape. Small details make a huge difference.

Do they come with pockets inside?

I gave this as a gift. It was sealed in plastic, so I did not see inside. My friend liked it, but I don't know about pockets.

Does this one come with the pages inside?

They all have printed pages that are each a specific theme. 40 pages each if I recall correctly. You can look up "____ smash book" (where the blank is the color or title) on YouTube and see flip-throughs to see what's on the pages of each book.
