Albums 1981-1987

The compilation album is a bit redundant but it is still a solid set of Anti-Nowhere League's album.

this is a great cd box set with kiiller remastered discs BUT.................. as someone who peviously did a write up on this set said DO NOT EXPECT EXACT ORIGINAL LP REPLICA SLEEVES as i have a couple of oringinal lps from the 80s and they are not, WHAT ROCKS IS THE REMASTERING of these classic 80s punk tracks, i have been a big fan of the league since about 1984 or so, these remastered discs sound awesome and this comes in a nice captain oi clam shell box with a killer booklet!!!!, i think for the 80s EVERYTHING IS HERE with the exception of the uncensored version of ANIMAL, outside of that its all in this clam shell box, BELIVE ME!!!!!!!!! these guys where one of the top 5 BEST BANDS OF THE EARLY TO MID 80S CRUST PUNK SCENE!!!!! decades on i never get tired of spinning these tunes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENJOY. IF YOU BUY!

I assume we are all aware of the music included in the set. Awesome and iconic as it may be, most of us have it already many times over. If you are buying this for the packaging, skip it. Although the box and the booklet are fairly nice, the sleeves that hold the CDs, and are claiming to be reproductions of the original LP sleeves, are cheaply made and alter the original artwork on the rear of the sleeves. No inner sleeves are included at all. If this is the first time you are purchasing the music that is included, go for it because it's great. But if you are buying these hoping that the sleeves are similar to Japanese mini LP sleeves, you will be very disappointed.

Great album

If you like fast punky music with overly nasty lyrics then this one's for you! The most famous track here is 'So What' which was famously covered by Metallica. A lot of the other stuff is in the same vein except for the 3rd disc (white cover with ANL running vertical) which sounds like they were trying to be more commercial. Too bad because it really misses the mark. Outside of that, the other three discs are great!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ROAR OF THEIR FIRST ALBUM WE ARE THE LEAGUE AND THE PURR OF THE PERFECT CRIME.STILL,A GOOD TIDY UP ON DISC 4 OF SINGLES AND B SIDES INCLUDING THEIR BANNED / WITHDRAWN DEBUT B SIDE SO WHAT.

Had two of them on vinyl, we are the league and live in Yugoslavia, now have the b sides as well, I'm a rocker......great

Really like this box set good artwork of the albums on the cardboard sleeves Not to sure about the perfect crime album though
