Glitter Lava Lamp LED Vintage Mini 7.28'' Night Light Lamp with USB Multi Color Changing Rocket Light for Kids Boys Girls Adult Bedroom (Light with Charging Plug)

This glitter lamp is cute and very bright. I purchased it for our living room. Since it is USB powered, I can plug it into the USB port on back of the TV. I also had a portable battery for my iphone that I wasn’t using and it too powered the lamp. The battery option allows me to display the lamp where I wouldn’t normally have access to a power supply. I may buy another one for work and plug it into my computer or USB port on my monitor. Sometimes I wish it was full-sized but the full-sized lamps don’t have the color changing option.

This lamp was the perfect size for my desk. A normal size lamp would not fit and would also be hot. This little lamp gets just warm enough to cause the glitter to move. I try to unplug it at the end of my work shift, but I've had it plugged in for days at a time and the bulb is still good. Ive had this for about 5 months.

I don't know why there are so many complaints and reviews with low stars because of the size of the lamp. It clearly states dimensions in the description! Guess people are just lazy and forget how to read through details BEFORE they impulse buy.With that said, I like the size and is perfect for my desktop. However, the reason for the 3-star review is that the product DOES NOT move the glitter around well. As some have stated, it's more like a snow globe, where you have to periodically shake it to get things moving...for a while. After three+ years, it is still working and cycles through all the colors. Do not know how the manufacturer constructs these lamps, but either the temperature is not warm enough to keep the glitter moving or the liquid chemical they use is not the right formula.I purchased this one when the glitter lamp I had for years finally stopped working. I do not recall the brand name, but I bought it at JC Penney after Christmas for a few dollars around 2009 or 2010. Bought a few of them and gave as gifts. Lasted over 10 years and in that one the glitter movement was perfect. Never had to shake it and it moved gently while it was turned on. Not this product, though.

This little “lava” lamp is pretty decent. It’s super small but does a good job giving off light. Wouldn’t go as far as to call it a lava lamp because it’s just glitter and not what lava lamps have in them. However with one shake that glitter stays floating and giving off a nice effect. For the size this thing does a great job. I have no regrets with this buy.

This product is exactly what we were looking for to help our son sleep. My son specifically wanted a “lava lamp night light”. And that’s what this is. It’s beautiful on the walls at night. It plugs into the wall but you do need your own block to connect to the usb cord. I have checked the lamp after hours of being on and it doesn’t ever seem too be hot to touch. We are very happy with this purchase

This little lamp is well made, and soothing. I especially like how the glitter remains suspended for hours while it is plugged in. No need to continually shake it. In a pitch dark room, it creates a very stunning visual display on the walls and ceiling, random and always changing as it cycles through each color. I find it to be a useful sleep aide.

Didn’t really realize how small it is. Reminds me of a girls pocket rocket.
