Parnevu Leave-in Conditioner for Extra Dry Hair, 16 Ounce

Over the years, I'd moved away from mineral oil based products because I heard mineral oil is the last things to ever use on natural hair. That's simply not true, at least not anymore. The bottom line is that Mineral oil, "acts as a protective barrier that aids in moisture retention by preventing the diffusion of water from the interior of the hair out into the environment in dry conditions, and it also helps to minimize frizz by preventing penetration of moisture into the hair in humid conditions." I find that true for my when I use this product.I am "tender-headed". When natural, I can't deal with the pulling, tangling, and the dryness. It simply hurts. So I include flat ironing in my hair routine and I use this product, that my hair dresser uses. This helps in all ways; as a heat protectant and afterwards as scalp moisturizer during the week. I use this product as needed on my scalp and then I use a good quality brush to distribute through my hair. This product does not kill my expensive brush and weigh it down with residue. It's absorbed into my hair so my brush is always easy to clean.The product washes out well. It is effective immediately at soothing my scalp.

I use this product as a daily leave in conditioner. I braid my hair every night and place the silk scarf on it until the next morning and then I finger them loose. This product holds the wavy to curly pattern and it helps keep the moisture. My hair has body and is very shakeable when I am done fingering the braids loose.This products smells of cleanliness and Lilacs and has a med thick like consistency and it doesn't leave your hands or hair sticky,Always let your hair dry completely before placing the silk scarf on it. If you leave it wet with the product, when you loose it the next morning, the hair will not be in an holding pattern.There is nothing about this product that I dislike. I love the way it works in my hair as well as the smell and the prices is the best.This product is always above my expectations. I purchased about 3 of these items from Amazon and believe me this product is well worth trying out.

Excellent product, this is the only thing that works for my dry hair.

My hair gets extremely dry, especially now that I swim regularly. This moisturizes my hair like nothing else, I'm pretty sure its horrible for the environment and probably also my health lol but it does its job.

OMG there's so much I could say about this product. Finding the right products for my thick biracial hair has been a nightmare for years. This is one of the few leave-in conditioners that actually did a wonderful job on it. It went on smoothly, lasted a while and even smelled good. It also deterred quite a bit of damage that I would have otherwise acquired. My curls were actually smooth with this. A few years ago, though, I couldn't find this stuff. Most of the stores I knew had stopped carrying it. Now that I'm taking better care of my hair, I wanted to try and find this again and just had to check Amazon to see. Thankfully, it was here. It was like finding an old friend. I'm gonna stock up on this stuff. I don't wanna have to go without it again.

If you have low porosity hair, this stuff do not absorb into the hair at all.
