Amazing piece of equipment!
I've made microfoam with a standard pitcher and know how difficult it can beThe pitcher is ice-cold, straight from the freezerThe milk is cold, 2% and froths fine if I stretch it and then dip the wandYou have to keep the wand off center to create the vortex effect that breaks up the large bubbles and then dip the wand further inI don't use my thermometer these days as when it almost scalds my palm, I remove my palm and heat for 10 seconds more. The Toroid pitcher changes all of thisThe mid dimple just directs the steam to create the whirlpool and the milk forms microfoam almost by itselfThe texture is just like it should, a sheen of 'wet paint effect:Theres no need to keep the wand off centre, or check for the whirlpoolThe pitcher is well made and looks beautifulIT'S REALLY GOOD, WORTH THE PRICEits worth it just for its craftsmanship, but it actually works,My latte "art" is a lot better after I've used this, OK, I know, there's a long way to go, but I can sense the difference now!

Brilliant design
For every multi buck expensive coffee accessory there is an endorsement or neato graphic that goes along with the product, none of which actually improve the results one gets. The Espro Frothing pitcher is the opposite of that. An understated yet brilliantly designed product that needs to be used in order to be appreciated. Most frothing pitchers require the end user to hit a specific 45 degree angle in order for the milk to circulate properly to both mix micro foam and heat the milk evenly. The Espro pitcher on the other hand COMPLETELY re-engineers the process. Rather than holding the pitcher at some awkward angle, the Espro can simply be put on it's base to work properly. The Espro is designed with a dimple at the base that directs the flow from center of the pitcher outward where the cleverly rounded base circulates the milk toroidally. For the none engineers out there that merely means the milk circulates in a donut shape. This eliminates cold spots, promotes proper foam creation AND eliminates turbulences where milk can come spouting out of the pitcher creating a mess to clean up (like every other design I've used does.) All this brilliant design for $30. If I were doing it all over again I wouldn't throw my money away on do nothing pretty pitchers, I would buy this pitcher and nothing else. Best pitcher on the market by far.

Foolproof Foam Can Be Yours!
You may not believe that the shape of this pitcher could make much of a difference, but believe me, it does. Using the Espro Toroid pitcher, we get perfectly foamed milk, every time. It works well with whole milk, but with 2% milk, the results are fantastic...velvety, perfectly textured microfoam. (We haven't tried fat free milk or soy milk yet.) We got the pitcher to use with our Breville 920 espresso machine (which we love) and it is the perfect accessory - good looking, nicely made and extremely easy to use. No practice necessary - from the first use the results have been great.

easy to make a good microfoam for newbie with consumer machines, commercial and pro-consumer machine will practices more .
Very fast ship, just spent five days to Thailand,I'm a home barista,my espresso machine is pro-consumer--Rocket R58 with dual boiler+PID,the stock steam tip is just 1.5mm two hole but so powerful (steamed milk in 12oz pitcher in 22 second). My frothing's skill is not to bad,I can make a smooth texture , wet paint ,a good and dense microfoam with my old tradition pitcher, but just want to test it .Today I tested toroid pitcher , it make a good performance like density , stable ,smooth and silky , I think because of bell shape patented .it so mighty power ,can repeat and swirl milk again and again in the pitcher. But I couldn't made a perfect microfoam everytime,in small amounts of milk, it seems hard to control strashing and swirling phase because of my machine is so powerful more than consumer machine.I read at coffeegreek for toroid 's review, they explained with 12oz toroid, that perfect for consumer machine with using time to steamed milk around 45second or above,it can make a good microfoam easier than commercial machine with big steam boiler(I absolutely agree).the commercial and pro-consumer machine match with toroid 20oz size(I bought this same,I'll review later). In the picture I showed you,I used personal technich like tile the pitcher and put the right steam wand 's position(depend on your steam tips) I didn't put in the center like original suggestions, and sometimes I used toothpick to clogged one of steam hole for put the pressure down and put the position in center like original,it easier to make a good microfoam.I recommend if you have consumer machine like gaggia, silvia etc...with single hole steam tip,it's suit for you.If you have a good skill for steamed milk and have a commercial machine or pro-consumer,I think it not necessary. The other cons is hard to put a themomiter because of tiny of top side I solved with bought the themomiter pad instead.and like previous talk if you using multi-hole tip it seem harder to control than single tipwill more practice if you have commercial or pro-consumer and in my experience it seems want to shorter strashing phase and poolong swirl phase (submerg, sink tip in the milk for longer) it will to make a better smooth microform.

Worth a try for better frothing.
The pitcher is well made. I purchased it because of its shape to help me to better froth milk but it is big, bigger than I needed. I used it only a few times and the froth is a bit better. I definitely need more practice to find the sweet spot for swirling milk since the shape does make a difference.

Looks good, easy to use and well made
My second unit (my other one is in another location). Much easier to froth milk. Easy to clean.

Brilliant
Superb design creating ideal flow pattern for smooth stretched milk. I use a Motte which is one of the best but my technique was inconsistent. Espro eliminates the vagaries. Hoffman said ( some years ago) he struggled with it apart from steaming the but it was right first time for my latte art.

Super Milchschaum
Ich habe keine Ahnung warum, es muss irgendwie an der Form liegen; aber dieses Kännchen zaubert einen besseren Milchschaum als alle anderen Kännchen.

Better than others I have tried but not perfect
Better than others I have tried but not perfect. Am still trying to perfect the microfilm. Doesn't help though when you have a small steamer wand on your machine!!

Performs as well as the 20 oz version
I had been using a cheap milk jug for frothing milk and difference that this jug makes is like night and day. The consistency of results makes this an absolute worthwhile investment. Only wish I’d purchased it sooner
