This ripstop poncho is 100% waterproof and called ripstop because of the special weave that runs through the material. It's originally a military designed material weave that is used in many fabrics and applications. It also allows the material to be lighter without losing any strength. A multi-function item has eyelets on the hem for use as a shelter or ground sheet, and press stud poppers on the sides allowing you to use it as a sleeping bag cover or even a poncho or basha. The poppers allow "sleeves" to be formed so you can still handle equipment easily.

The media could not be loaded. have only used mine to make shelters so far but definitely waterproof and can fit over a decent sized pack as well definitely worth its weight

Very Nice
This thing is huge. The atac Fg design looks right on target with original Atacs design. Comes with a carry bag, and it's also very heavy. Compared to my cheapy poncho from walmart this things weighs almost 3 times more. Which tells me it's a much better fabric and will stand up to more abuse. The shipping was extremely slow, but it is completely worth it. I will be buying another.

Good piece of multi use gear
Looks like a quality item. The material is thick and the stitching looks good. It dons easily and covers me to the knees. I wish the camo pattern showed a bit more contrast but it’s fine. It will be great to use during downpours as well as shelter from rain and sunshine during long hours of spotting.

Outstanding Poncho
I purchased this poncho to take with me in my pack, when I go day-hiking. This is a heavier made poncho compared to many of the others that you see for sale now-a-days. The waterproofing on the inside is thicker and the grommets on each side are made (just like U.S. military-issued ponchos were) so that it can be connected to another poncho like it, if you needed a construct a make-shift tent / shelter. It has a draw cord in the hood and another waist cord on the inside, just like the military-issued ponchos did. The hood is too small to go over your head while wearing a combat helmet. But that makes it the perfect fit / size for normal everyday wear without a helmet. I'm 6'-6" tall and the length of this poncho is fine on me while wearing a day-pack. Naturally, the material does not breathe...so you will sweat while wearing it if you button the sides up all the way, where air can't circulate underneath. So I always leave the sides mostly unbuttoned when wearing it in the rain. And for those looking for a good camo pattern, the camo pattern on this poncho is very effective in most any type of vegetation / environment. Well worth the $32 that I paid for it. My poncho shipped from England and I received it in about 10 days.

I've taken this through hell.
I'm a backcountry hunter in north idaho. When I beat the brush it is thick and it's a nightmare. The have taken this poncho through hell and back now and it has been great! Don't expect the bag you receive it with to last long because it will tear. But you shouldn't be putting it back in the bag it came with just in your back pack. Worth the money!

Good value for the price
I like Mil-Tec. No clue if it would hold up to heavy daily use in the field but for monthly camping their gear is priced right and has done well so far. This poncho feels just as sturdy as issue and on examination all the sewing seems sound. Camo pattern is very similar to ATACS-FG.

Good quality
Seems like military quality maybe even better honestly. This is a must have piece of kit if you spend a lot of time outdoors. Doubles as a ranger shelter and is a good camouflage “not shiny” has some sort of rubberized interior lining that is truest water proof I have been out all day in 40mm + of rain and was dry as a popcorn fart.

Die nähte sind alle versiegelt, und sehen auch nicht komplett schei..e aus. Das muster ist wie angegeben (und ziemlich ansehnlich finde ich). Ansonsten hält er trocken, und ist eine schöne boden plane. Eben ein Poncho....
