Coming into the DEWALT DWAN2190 Small Parts Organizer, my main priority was getting a handle on loose bits, small hardware, and workbench clutter. In terms of overall capacity, it turned out to be just barely enough in size for my immediate needs. At roughly 10 inches square and under an inch deep, it is definitely a compact storage case rather than a deep utility box, so you have to be deliberate about what you store inside. Once you get past the compact dimensions, the actual construction for an $8 box is impressive. The polymer plastic feels heavy-duty, thick, and rigid enough to handle drops without cracking. It sits completely flat on a desk without wobbling, and the plastic doesn't absorb or retain heat easily if left out under bright work lights or near warm gear. The clear lid is another massive quality-of-life feature, allowing you to scan your contents at a glance without having to unlatch the box every time you need a specific part. Inside, the organization system gives you a decent amount of flexibility. The horizontal dividers slide in and out smoothly, letting you tailor individual compartment sizes for anything from short drill bits and driver heads to wall anchors or small screws. The one structural limitation is that the long center vertical divider is fixed in place, meaning you are locked into two primary columns. Additionally, because the lid doesn't seal tightly flush against the top edge of every divider, ultra-fine hardware like tiny brad nails or tiny washers might slide into neighboring compartments if the case gets flipped around in a bag. The latch mechanism clips shut with a firm, secure snap, so you do not have to worry about the box accidentally popping open on your desk or in transit. If you already use other DEWALT ToughCase bit sets, the side interlocking latches let you stack and lock multiple units together into a neat, modular block. It takes up very little desk space, keeps small parts sorted, and feels built to last.

I wanted to get a storage box that would not be too heavy when full because of my arthritis in my hands. This turned out to be a great small box that fits just that purpose. I got one for screws, one for nails, one for knives and sharp objects, and one for other misc. tools that fit in it. I'm really happy with the purpose. The trays are not perfect for the small nails, as they do come out of it and the plastic cover does not have a perfect closure, but I put some big rubber bands or might put a velcro to secure the one with the small nails. I might even permanently glue the middle container in one of these, to secure the divider better and permanently. Besides that, I like how these store in a shoe box and four fit inside of one standing up on their side. I'm very happy about my purchase. I finally got all the different things out of the zip lock bags and can easily find what I will be looking for. I'm not a construction worker, just a homeowner, with a minimal amount of screws and nails. For some serious workers, I would go bigger as the drywall screw box took almost half of this case... but I would not be able to carry a bigger box full of those kind of screws when needed. I'm sure it would look great and would have love having them all in one tool box, but my hands would not be able to handle the box each time I need a screw or a simple tool. Overall, highly recommend.

a nice small case to keep things tidy. nice that it's stackable like other Dewalt cases. really can't be beat if you just need a small carrying case or organizer to corral bits and pieces in a cabinet or drawer.

This DEWALT tool box organizer is well-built and the compartments are useful for sorting small items. The tough case is durable and the latches work smoothly. Good size for most hand tools and accessories. I wish the dividers were a bit more adjustable for customizing the layout. Overall a solid organizer for the price and the DEWALT quality is evident.

It is just what it says it is - a solid container for little things, though the dividers make it so you have some flexibility. I'm using it to separate my driver bits so I can find a t25 when I need one!

I took out all the dividers and just use it for a box to store small things that I use over and over (Like certain sizes of drill bits, sheet metal screws, sharpie, different sizes of philips bits and drivers. etc...) Sure I could drop all that stuff in a compartment of my tool belt (sometimes I do when I'm working up high) but the time I save being able to spot what I need and just grab it adds up over the course of the day. (As opposed to digging around in my tool pouch trying to find things with my fingers) The clear lid allows me to see what I'm looking for before I even open the box. It's one of those things I can't figure out how I lived without before. If I lost it I would replace it as soon as I could. I'd call the quality "medium". It's not heavy duty, but it's worth the price tag. (It's a hard-plastic type thing) The latches work well.

I've always got random bolts, spacers, washers, latches, bits and on and on that I need a place to store because a chaotic "junk drawer/box" has proven not to work for me, and they are things that can and likely will be useful at some point so I don't want to throw them away. Enter the DeWalt organizer! I have some cheap, flimsy plastic storage boxes that are ok but NOTHING like these and not at all as secure. For a DeWalt product (which I am slowly transitioning to in a lot of my tools) I was pleasantly surprised at the price of these storage boxes, I believe on sale for under $6 when I bought them. They are very durable, good size compartments-which are easily adjustable in size with the moveable stiff partitions, easy see through top that locks VERY securely, and I'm really diggin' the DeWalt interlocking system. I've got some DeWalt drill bit and impact bit sets (locked together), sockets and 2 of these organizers and love the option that I can lock them all together if I want/need to even when they are not the same size! I'm also trying to get my stuff more organized and these boxes and this system are becoming game changers for me. Making organization exciting again! lol I really feel for the price these are a great buy and I likely will be getting more in the future. Love my DeWalt stuff!

These are great medium sized organizers! They are easily adjustable to modify spaces ideally for your needs. I keep a couple of these in my rolling toolkit loaded with necessary supplies.
