A Quality Blade With Stunning Looks
I bought the 7-inch Santoku knife a few weeks ago and after using it as the primary chopper/slicer in our kitchen I can safely say that this is a quality blade. From a practical standpoint, the knife is well built and comes sharp out of the box (along with some great goodies like a padded sheath and a microfiber cloth for keeping it nice and shiny). I am sure I will need to sharpen the knife at some point, but that stands true for all kitchen knives. So far the edge has kept and after cooking several meals with it and I see no serious signs of wear. From an aesthetic standpoint, the knife is absolutely stunning. From the packaging to the blade, the attention to detail put into this product seems to match the quality of the knife itself. Even though the knife comes with a sheath I have struggled to throw away the box because it compliments the knife so well. From a value standpoint, you can't go wrong with this Santoku knife. I may wind up purchasing the Brooklyn Knife Company cleaver soon seeing as I have always wanted a knife with that style but haven't found a brand that I liked enough to commit to.

Good knife!
This is a pretty good knife. It sliced through the food that I was cutting and I was expecting to have to apply a lot more pressure than I actually did. Sharp, nice to look at and super easy to use, I would buy another knife from this company.

Amazing knife!
It's weighted really well, beautiful to the touch, so comfortable to use and works really well. I don't put mine in the dishwasher. I hand wash it because it's so beautiful and has a delicate quality to the aesthetics while being a rugged knife. Love it so much. Highly recommend.

I’d buy more
Nice knife. The dimples aren’t quite deep or long enough to provide for release. The handle is a little smooth and slick, but still decent grip. The knife is sharp and very well made.

Sturdy, well-balanced Santoku
I am really impressed with the weight of the handle and the sharpness of the blade. It's very sturdy and made the prep work for my stew a breeze. I love the embedded Japanese design on the blade. Very classy. It also comes with its own cover to protect the blade, which is a plus. .

Great luxurious feel
This is the second Brooklyn Co Knife I purchase, the first was a paring knife and its quality convinced me to buy this one. For reference, the best knife I had before was a Victorinox chefs knife, it doesn't even come close in feel. This knives have a nice weight, the handles are beautiful as well as the blades decor, it feels like holding a sharp piece of art.

Classy
I am loving this knife so far. It feels great in the hand, I've used it for about 10 meals without needing to sharpen it yet, and it's obviously made well. With covid, I haven't had many people over. But when I cooked for a family member one night they complimented it and asked about it as soon as I pulled it out. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful Knife
This knife is beautiful, it comes sharp out of the box and was very nice to hold. My only complaint is that it is a little more handle-heavy than I would prefer out of a knife. The blade isn't thick at all so I had no problems getting paper-thin cuts.
