Q: how much do you get ? how many boxes ? how many in a box?

Just received. I have here 6 tear open packets inside a small box. Each packet says it is for treating up to 30 gallons. I don’t see any weight listed on the package. I’ve used this stuff for a long time and it works great in my bare bottom 40 gallon tank. I keep this on hand for when even after cleaning and water changes, my tank still has that not so fresh look :-) Somehow, this powder helps remove the cloud from cloudy water. Oh yea sorry.. 6 packs in one box.

Q: How may gallons will one box do?

It will take along time to finish one small box just in one tiny pack use a few pinch first then wait for one day to see if the cloudiness disappears. It cleans and purify the water. I dont know the size of your tank mine is 20 gallons.

Q: Is it more effective to use after a water change?

Yes, that is when I use it. Water will cloud but once settled water is crystal clear!

Q: It works wonderfully in my 55 gallon, but does not work in my 100 gallon, what’s up with that?

Aquatop works best with a fresh strat up or 3/4 water change. You have to be sure to put in the right amount for your size tank. It make take 24 hours or more for larger tanks. Try putting it in 15-30 minutes after all the other chemicals you use in your tank have settled. Hope this helps.
