works great! one cut and the whole button shank is removed effortlessly! i wish i bought this much earlier my life would have been so much better

I used the on metal button backs. It makes it so much easier. I was using kobalt wire cutters, but due to their size, I just couldn't get close enough. But the Kobalt does do a better job on the very thick ones.

These are so easy to use for removing the shanks from some cute buttons to use on projects.

I bought this to make needle minders out of buttons. It works so well and I’ve turned at least 15 buttons into needle minders so far

I didn’t even know this product existed until my sister told me. It was tremendously helpful in removing plastic button shanks for my craft. Fair warning; the shanks may go flying.

I love these. They cut right up against the button to keep the bottom smooth. My only regret that I hadn't heard of them sooner.

I haven’t used this much. It seems to work well on plastic shanks. Metal shanks are hit and miss. It works well or it tears the back up and makes it torn and sharp. The worst part is that the spring broke today. I can still use it, but have to manually open it. I think if I had to buy another one, I’d try a different brand.
