I ordered a longer cable from here and everything is perfectly good now.
Finally, it operates very quietly and stays cool. All in all, this is an excellent HDD for the price and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a basic model. Will update if any errors occur but overall its perfect 5/5 They are affordable and I have never once had one fail on me in the 6-8 years I've been using them.

Really like this 4TB drive!
Absolutely amazing hard drive. I bought it to use it for my PS4 and it's been amazing. Purchased to use as backup drive for PS4. This is the largest you can get and still be bus powered too so it's really the winner when it comes to all USB 3.0 external drives.

Great quality
I use this mainly for storing files on the move, as it is small and portable.It's been almost a year since I purchased this and it still works great!! . I even used it for awhile as my main hard drive while I was in between computers and I hardly noticed a delay in anything.

I got this in June 2017, still works great. I use it everyday. My only concern is that the cable that came with it was too short. My only concern is that the cable that came with it was too short. I had a lot of back up data on several smaller drives and bought this to keep a back up of all the back ups.

Mid 2010 Macbook pro with a 250Gb HD now has a 2TB HD thanks to DOJGT.
I need tons of these hard drives for film work and for backups. Within 15 minutes I moved in over 120GB of Xbox One games I had to previously delete. I was looking for an inexpensive external HDD with USB 3.0 support

This DOJGT expansion drive was perfect for what I needed it for.Worked like a charm and easy to install. I only use DOJGT after I had a ton of western digital and other brands and models fail on me over the years.
