High quality video for years now...
High quality Reolink cameras throughout the property. This one was inexpensive, easy to set up & is compatible with the same app. Very expandable.

Easy set up! Perfect for our RV!
We got this to check in on the dogs when get run into town. It is nice and quiet when we move it around to check on the dogs so it does not alert them. Easy to set up, decent quality image and sound! We did not mount it, we set it on the counter. Perfect for our RV!

Decent camera with poor construction
I bought this camera because itโs affordable, and overall it does the basics well. Connectivity has worked fine for me, even at some distance, and I havenโt had issues so far. What I didnโt like is the build quality. The camera fell from barely 15 cm and already popped open. I managed to put it back together and it still works, but it feels fragile compared to other cameras I own that were even cheaper yet sturdier. Being a budget product shouldnโt be an excuse for poor durability. Also, this model doesnโt have auto-tracking, which is available in the Pro version. In short, it works and does the job, but the materials and construction quality could definitely be better. this is the cheap version of the others more expensive options. cant complain about the image quality because it works fine. they should have still let it have the autotracking option since even cheaper brands options has it. cough cough. just using it for a shortwhile. i think need to keep the construction quality consistent even if this camera is cheaper of the bunch since is not cheap cheap. the new version has no ethernet port this is so so sad... some improvement over the old version. the inclusion of a usb c port... good design choice in case the charger is missing is easy to find replacement. the new version seem to include auto tracking ... the old version was static . and the low quality video profile kept the video ratio over the old version on low quality video has different video ratio over the clear version so when it look on low quality looked weird. theres improvement when adding a camera seems faster since theres a bluetooth to detect on the phone is pretty quick. in the past version scanning using the camera own it took a bit longer since you needed to pick the camera to read the code which works fast with good technique but not as convenient of the bluetooth of no scanning just straigth forward hope for the next version to include back the ethernet port...

REAL LINK
Gave it 5 *s. Came on time, no damage to product boxes, or profuct. All of product and accessories were there. Setup was very easy and simple to follow. Clarity of camera is great, functionality as described. However, it does not come with SD cards have you purchase those(seversl to choose from)but price is very reasonable for both camera'sand SD. FYI***If you need camera wal mounts they have them on TEMU if you do not want the hassle of ceiling install.

Unable to use with Alexa app / devices. UPDATED
The cameras work fine with the Reolink app and were easy enough to add to the Reolink Cloud service that I purchased for the first pair of cameras I purchased. Unfortunately though, I purchased an Amazon Echo 15 to use as the primary device to access and view the cameras with. The Alexa app displays no Reolink access under the Security and Devices list. Iโm unable to locate Alexa interface under Reolink or vice versa. I thought I had selected devices/systems that would interface and communicate with each other based on the information presented in the adds listing stating the would work with each other but as of now I am stuck with cameras I can only view on the Reolink app on my phone. If I am able to figure out how to use it how I had initially intended to through YouTube videos (no success yet), I will come back and update this review. Until then, three stars for stand alone Reolink app access is all that I can honestly give. I guess we just canโt have it allโฆโฆ Oh and I have actually tried to use my 11am Fir Tablet and my brand spanking new 55โ Fire TV to view these Reolink cameras via Alexa. UPDATE - Via continued searches and finally finding a solution to my set up issues, everything is now working properly. I stumbled upon a Reolink subreddit on Reddit and after reviewing the posts of other Reolink camera users who also use Alexa devices I was able to isolate and correct my set up issue. For those who may be having frustrating issues, this is the place to seek advice, help and answers and it will save you time flipping through poorly explained procedures as presented on YouTube. Also, on a final note, thank you Reolink for offering me a refund. Now that all is working as it is supposed to that will not be necessary.

Reolink has lost focus on what the customer wants / needs.
I use to love Reolink, but like this purchase, I find I am returning more and more of their products for the below same reasons One of the great features of Reolink was reliability, ease, redundance, consistency in set up โ good scalability and great customer service; the force multiplier of Reolink. If you had an issue connecting to WIFI, it always came with an ethernet port as backup (which ALWAYS worked in getting you set up for WiFi). I returned this product for not having an Ethernet port and the wifi pseudo-AI / auto set up failing miserably - now common issue with Reolink It appears the tech team is no longer in the driver seat, but the marketing department - and thus the Reolink performance has degraded the last year. Instead of more Wifi Range, the real Achilles heel of the Reolink eco system, if seems to focusing on pseudo-AI voice instructions. To make their new cameraโs look more modern, they hide the antennae, at the expense of WIFI range and also removing the ability to mitigate WiFI range problems with things like antennae boasters. To a potential buyer โ I would suggest you look at older models of Reolinkโs cameras only. They perform better, easier to set up, and are more scalable; not to mention Reolink NVR WIFI firmware currently has not been updated to interface with the newest cameras. To Reolink if you want to provide real value to Reolink customers, stop this sudo AI international marketing/packaging stuff you are doing - work on wifi range, the real Achilles heel of your eco systems. โข Get your AC1200 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi Extender released (or at least scale your NVR so you can use third party extenders like Netgear) โข Bring back your WiFi Antenna extenders, or better, release an improved version that increases range even more. โข Stop hiding Antenna internally, which degrades their wifi range - if TP-Link and Netgear use external antennas, the is no tech excuse for you to not do so. โข Before you release a new model, make sure your WiFi NVR (DVR/Router appliance) firmware supports it. โข Go back to written instructions, (where each page was dedicated to one language, or YouTube channels that were dedicated to one language). Get rid of this marketing / new packaging effort of pseudo-AI set up in an unnecessary international โwe are the worldโ packaging. Besides providing less information, a 3-sentence written instruction is now 15 sentence diatribe of foreign languages. Or at the very least, add the old option of โpress 1 for English, press 2 for Spanish, press 3 for Korean, press 4 for Japaneseโฆโฆ

Good quality for the price.
Sent on time. Easy to set up. Quality is better than I expected. Price is great for what you get. My monitor is not part of the camera.

Inexpensive OK camera, no on/off control or way to delete video
First the good. I got this on sale for cheap. So, given that price, I can't complain much. The camera works. It was relatively easy to set up. The quality of the image is good enough. The night vision is passable. The WiFi is ok, though, it does seem to get very slow at times. Its also nice that no subscription fees are required (as with a number of other cameras). Now, the bad. And, there is quite a bit of it. First, there is no way to turn off the camera. For an indoor camera, where occasional privacy is an expected requirement, this a deal breaker. Ultimately, I tossed the camera on a smart plug. To me, this was an unacceptable extra cost. Next, there is no way to delete SOME of the video. Your only option is to reformat the storage (which deletes ALL of the video). This is especially galling since the videos are broken up into segments (5 minutes each if I recall). Would it really be that hard to add a "delete segment" feature? The quality of the software is mixed. On the desktop, using a Windows PC, its not too bad. However, scrubbing through video, to find a scene, is unnecessarily cumbersome. The motion detection is fairly good, and helps in this regard, but it has a few too many false negatives to be entirely reliable. And, as mentioned, basic features like turning on and off the camera and deleting video segments are entirely missing. On my phone (Android), the software is borderline unusable. Take everything that is passable on the desktop version, remove it all, and then you have the mobile version. Its ok for monitoring live video and not much else.

Excellent Picture Quality & Easy Setup โ Totally Worth It!
Iโm very impressed with this camera! The picture quality is truly up to the mark โ crystal clear, sharp, and vibrant. One of the best parts is how easy it was to install and set up. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality, hassle-free camera. Great value for money! -MOHIT โ๏ธ

It works if you figure it out
Ok the quality of this hardware is great. But the whole thing suffer by the software side. During the set up the apps require you to point the camera to join your WiFi network, this IS the suffering part: first the apps do not scan WiFi, you need to type in SSID and password by yourself. Secondly, if for any reason it fail, you need to hardware reset your camera so it will restart the whole set up. Iโm using a latest wifi7 and none of my 4 SSID work, NONE (include 2.4, smart, MLO, and the isolated 2.4). End up I need to use my phone personal hotspot to make it work. However, once it work, then you can go back to the apps and change to your SSID normally. It was only the initial set up fail whatever reason.

Tested and Reliable
Excellent camera for the price, for indoor use no need to spend more money, fast easy installation and good enough view, I have several other makes that are continuously trying to sell cloud storage, one in particular shows you advertising before allowing you to look at your video, that is headed to the dump as well as two others from the same company, Reolink none of that constant hassle to sell cloud storage and no advertisement it is your camera you bought it paid for it and they should stay out of your business, the companies are getting more and more aggressive with their desperate need to squeeze more money out of you, I am not paid by Reolink to say this, I have over thirty years of experience in law enforcement and video systems for up close security around the home at a reasonable price that is affordable, I have 5 different systems around my home and I think the Reolink system is the least expensive, as reliable, no commercials and no cloud expense.
