Updated review: Amazing value for money, make sure you insert SIM correctly!
So, the good stuff. This tablet offers a lovely, clear screen with accurate colours and decent performance for an extremely low price. If you want a 10" android tablet that doesn't have all the adverts and silly apps that come with an Amazon Fire, then this is a strong contender. I use mine mainly for reading using the Kindle app and Readly, social media, newspapers, podcasts and the odd Netflix/YouTube video. And the not so good stuff. Although advertised as LTE/4G, I've yet to get a SIM to work in the tablet and connect to a mobile network (I've tried GiffGaff and Vodafone). Sim clicks in OK, but tablet doesn't recognise it at all ("no Sim", "emergency calls only"). I've contacted Teclast support and they have tried to help, but to no avail. In the end I won't send the tablet back, as I use it mainly on WiFi and when I am feeling adventurous, will investigate further. The sound is OK, loud enough - probably as good as a Fire or Huawei T5, but miles away from my iPhone (which cost 4x more!), definitely works best through a Bluetooth speaker (no issues with Bluetooth and WiFi connections). I also purchased a Teclast cover for the tablet. It keeps it safe, but the bezels are so thin around the tablet that I find that the cover intrudes a bit - so possibly best with a basic sleeve and careful handling! Overall, after a month's use, you get a hell of a lot for your money - if you want tablet with a decent screen, good performance and battery life, go for it! Just accept that there may be some issues and a bit of a "journey" with the device in terms of some of the advertised functionality. Oh and there is some support available from Teclast. I noticed that they have recently released an OTA update for the device (March 2020) - which is not the case with many of the cheaper Chinese tablet manufacturers. UPDATE 12-04-2020: SIM issue fixed - make sure you insert the SIM with contacts facing rear of tablet, with diagonal cut on SIM card AT THE TOP LEFT when you insert. I now can not fault the tablet - it's amazing value for money and works a treat on 4G. If I could give 6 stars I would!!!

Fast tablet with a great screen
Bought this tablet because I have an amazon HD fire 7 other than being able to be used quite well with the kindle app it was almost useless, everything was slow, took time to load and the input on the touch screen was laggy a lot of the time. While the Fire 7 had kept me going with ebooks it was too small of a screen to be able to read comics comfortably. And that was mainly what I was in the market for, a new large screen tablet with decent enough specs that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. What I got for my money is in my mind pretty great, I was considering going with a larger amazon tablet but my older none amazon tablets had seemed to be much faster out of the box so I took a gamble on this tablet because it had decent specs and it seemed as though the company kept their products sleek and understated. For the most part I don't like anything flashy, my iphone sits in a plain black rubber case and my laptop is just a matt black HP. If I could turn the LEDs on my desktop motherboard I would. This tablet delivered on the looks undeniably. It isn't much to look at... ...until you turn on the screen, it may just be that the screens larger but it feels a lot brighter and that the colours look more vivid than my amazon tablet to me. It also has pretty good screen brightness i sit with it at about a quarter through the day with sunlight coming into the house and it's easy to read. The screen is glossy but even with the included screen protector it hasn't been much of a problem. So for me for the main reason I wanted it this tablet has ticked that box in a big way. However because the tablet has been so fast and easy to use its made me really enjoy using a tablet again, I've hardly touched my laptop, which I would frequently use in bed to look at work related things. It works well with google sheets and microsoft office. It has really made me interested in tablets again. Performance wise this is just a little bit better than a samsung galaxy s7 which is at this point 2 years old, or thats at least according to my benchmarks. It hasn't given me any major slowdowns or problems as of yet even Pokemon Go seemed to load equally as fast as it does on my iphone 7. Seems similar to the Huawei mediapad 10 inch that I used recently. The android experience is great there are no skins or any weird new custom launchers, it seems to be stock android with no bloatware except the usual google stuff that you get on almost all android devices and an update checker from Teclast which can't really be considered bloatware and in my opinion its good to just have a dedicated app to get the ROMs directly from the manufacturer. This is my first foray back into stock android in a long time and i'm happy to say it's really good especially with google assistant. The only thing I wish the product had was a fingerprint reader, however this isn't something that I thought I would need it would just be really convenient to have on a device I'm using a lot more often, although there aren't a lot of tablets that do have finger print readers. And I wish I had opted for an even bigger screen. But with my new found love for android tablets maybe the next one.

Honest Review (Tablet for Oldschool Runescape / OSRS)
I've been looking for a while for a tablet to commit to, to play Oldschool Runescape (OSRS) on my travels. I have a phone and it runs it fine but I wanted a bigger screen to be quite frank, I keep miss clicking everything. Fast forward to purchasing this. 1. Looks really nice for its price. 2. Build quality is OK, the volume buttons are more lose than more premium products. 3. The tablet is pretty fast, however, when browsing the play store, youtube, or apps with long lists, there is noticeable drop in frames per second. 4. The battery life is pretty good, and 6,000 Ma Battery at 100$ is un heard of. 5. 3GB ram at 100$ is also really good. 6. I'm not sure what it is, whether its the chip letting it down, or poorly optimised android 9, but one of these to is causing point number 3. 7. Touchscreen is generally quite good, although sometimes it wont register your touch. 8. The screen doesnt feel 1920, more like 1280 and its noticable, especially when trying to find a background that isnt horribly pixalated. 9. The screen for watching Netflix, and youtube, is more than sufficient, no lag or anything and its nice and bright. 10. Do not buy this tablet for its camera, you may as well not have one to be honest; it's that bad :) Runescapers: Lastly it runs OSRS OK. I get an average of 30-40 FPS, and down to 15-25 in busy areas; that said it has gone up to 50 in quiet areas. TLDR: All in, all I would recommend this tablet if you are in the market for a decent battery, with big bright screen, good battery, to stream netflix, prime, youtube or other. Then get it, definitely. If you want something more premium and spending just $50 more, look at the huawei mediapad t5/m5. Will update here with long term use, but for now this is from a weeks use.

Great Tablet for price (Update - Not!)
Great tablet for the price, good screen, and fast. the front selfie camera is in a strange place and produces the worst quality pictures and videos I have ever seen on any device! the main camera is ok... Update - I Have changed my review from 4 to 1 star.. I have owned this tablet for 2 months, have not used it for anything just turned it on and added my google apps and stuff, I bought it for my parents who I am able to visit next week.. So prepping it up yesterday it got hot and the screen blistered and cracked?... I have bought 3 tablets from Teclast in the past 2 months including the M30 and their flagship T30... I have messaged but had no reply or help from Teclast regarding the P10HD issue... So luckily I am a Prime member and in current crisis am able to return for refund.... I am thinking maybe I should return all the tablets I have purchased from Teclast before they explode!

5*s across the board because it deserves it.
Bought for ยฃ99 so pls keep the price point of this tablet in mind, whilst reading. Received today. Cheap, cheerful, and better than I expected. I have other, pricier, tablets that serve as my main go-to for when I don't want to be on the pc or laptop. But I didn't think ahead when I bought my others and they're only WiFi. This time, I wanted a tablet that was LTE and that would allow me net access on the move, but since I have lots of tech I really didn't want to spend too much. This bit of tech delivers. No difficulty in reading the sim. Easy to use android system and it's simply a case of plug and go. When I was looking at the reviews there were things I was interested in knowing that I didn't find, so I'll add them here in case there are others that, like me, are interested in knowing the following. Sound. Not bad. Loud if needed but, sound quality isn't the best. Somewhat muffled but that's just being highly critical. I have harman kardon speakers on my other tablets, so I'm spoilt. Despite this, at this price, the sound is perfectly adequate to watch movies etc. Headphones would probably give even better results. You could even listen to music on it, if pushed. Screen. Again, not bad. Not as bright and vibrant compared to my others but again, it's still pretty good. I gave it a test run on Netflix and I'm happy with the results. Text. Pretty good. If you're going to be using this as an ebook then you should be good. Battery life. Better than expected. The last time I picked up a teclast it would die after a couple of hours. This tablet however, is doing well so far. Overall I'm really really pleased cos this is a fab buy, for me at any rate, since I only wanted something that had LTE capability and that let me watch movies, read and browse the net. Although it won't be my main tablet, if anyone is looking to buy it as a main unit. You won't go wrong. Double thumbs up!

Nice Tablet let down by poor wireless connectivity.
I have a strong WiFi signal all over the house and when connecting it showed full strength on the tablet. However this did not mean you could download anything. Sometimes I could, sometimes I couldn't. I tried reseting the device no difference. I returned the Tablet back and bought an Amazon Fire HD 10 instead which works perfectly, proving there was something wrong with it. Given the other reviews this may just have been a fault with my Tablet. Otherwise the Tablet was pretty nice but I just couldn't put up with the unreliability.

Cheap inside and outside, good enough for low key usuage.
Value for money indeed, it is fast - faster than expected for a cheap tablet. Everything else is average. Only has one small speaker like one u would use on a old mobile phone, so sound is OK, you wont be able enjoy a good HD movie with the sound quality or play music out loud for a group. You would link it to an external speaker via bluetooth for entertainment. Camera is average, well Tablets are not usually build to take pictures. Most important thing, which i did not read on any existing reviews, is that the tablet crashes a lot, it reboots itself often - only on setting modes not while playing a movie, but when you are typing something on the web. I bought this one for my mum to watch movies mostly so hopefully it is enough. I personally would not buy thia for myself, due to the unstable processor, imagine you are in the middle of signing in or buying something and it suddenly reboots itself for no reason. Buy it if you use it to entertain your kids or in my case for my mum "only to watch movies" (with an external speaker).

Really fast for the money, impressive!
I took a risk on this as was close to going for the more expensive Huawei with slightly bigger RAM. I was only looking for a cheap tablet to use for house gadgets (Hue, Sonos, Ring, Blink, etc) and apps, plus general browsing, streaming, food ordering etc. My main priority was speed, transitioning from app to app plus smooth streaming, etc and the 3GB RAM and octacore processor does a really good job on this. It's impressive that amount of RAM with an octacore processor, plus an IPS 1080p screen and also the latest Android 9.0 has been put together for less than ยฃ100. There's also the option to put extra storage in plus a 4g SIM card. The screen is really nice, really bright on full brightness settings. Good colour gamut output as well, again surprised the clarity for the money. The battery is also good, I reckon at least a week on standby. The screen on full brightness with the screen timeout setting disabled will obviously drain the battery quicker but you still get 10 hours at least in this scenario. The tablet could be thinner and the size is definitely less than 10.1 inches, it's more like 9.6 but for the money, I'm not complaining. The weight is decent to, not too much that it's too heavy and not so light to make it feel fragile. The buttons on the side a little clunky but again for me, a small issue. I've had it a month so far and still really impressed with it. I really thought I'd be sending it back if I'm honest!
