Islands Chocolate - Dark 100% Cocoa (70g )- Sugar Free , Vegan, Dairy Free - Seed to Bar- Sustainable - Keto Friendly

This is my first taste of Islands chocolate and it won’t be my last - I have already ordered more. It has a good taste, although strangely one that builds rather than is obvious when you actually eat a piece. I found it best to allow a piece to slowly melt in my mouth, which ensured I could savour it and actually pick up the depth of flavour that then becomes more apparent.The cacao is grown from seed and processed by Islands, so the process is overseen to ensure it is just right for the resultant product; a very good chocolate.The bar is small at 70g, but it is a good chocolate and worth getting for a special occasion and would be a good stocking filler or secret Santa gift. The chocolate is wrapped in a biodegradable material and is nicely presented inside a cardboard outer.

Alright, I never was in to dark chocolate but after 4 months of no sugar and no additive diet I can say this chocolate is amazing quality, it is of course expensive but you dont eat much of this stuff, now I love chocolate who would have guessed?????

So, so smooth, creamy and no after taste like a lot of very dark pure chocolates suffer from. I was not disappointed at all-my husband even tried it thou he is not a fan of dark chocolate, he even he enjoyed it commented on it's smoothness. I shall be trying all their bars in due time- wish they did chocolate chips- unless they do and I have missed them! Wish for the price the bars were a wee bit larger-

I've tried numerous no added sugar chocolate bars, but I don't like the artificial sweeteners so I thought I'd try this one.Made from 100% cocoa, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The chocolate wasn't as bitter as I thought it might be, and it was moreish. So moreish that it didn't last very long, despite buying the bar for an occasional treat.I really enjoyed it, and I will buy it again.

I am a little disappointed with this... everything is great, it is ethically sourced and everything seems to be done brilliant apart from it containing sunflower lecithin. It says 100% cocoa.

As in Keto, I am testing all the 100% dark chocolate I can find. So according to origins the flavour can vary. This one is a bit acidic. Which in a way is great because you dont want to finish the whole thing :)Other than flavour, very good quality product. I may try other origin from the same brand.

I used this in chocolate tofu desert and cut some up on whole food plant based brownies. As I only eat WFPB these days, I have to be careful to use things with no added sugar or oil. This 100% coco chocolate was just the ticket and I have already ordered more.

The item is very well package and presentable, however the chocolate itself is poor.. Chalky texture and tasteless.. can hardly taste the cocoa.. Shame!
