FSA Headset Star-Nut Driver for 1" & 1-1/8"

If you purchase and swap out a lot of forks like I do, this tool is the best because it's 100% effective for installing star nuts into the steerer tube.This is how easy this tool is to use:1. Thread tool into star nut.2. Position and place threaded star nut and tool over the steerer tube.3. Place sleeve over star nut and tool.4. Strike threaded tool with hammer/mallet.5. Remove sleeve, unthread tool from star nut and you have a pro job!For the price a shop charges you, even if you do this once, it is a durable tool that doesn't even look bad after you took a hammer to it. It's a must have and great value tool. I wish I had this tool a long time ago!

Awesome tool. I was worried that it wouldn't self align. It did! This is a heavy duty tool. I love park tool stuff but this was cheaper so I took a chance. It paid off. Don't be afraid to hit it when installing the star tangle nut. I was a little timid at first and the star nut wouldn't go in. After hitting it hard it went right in. I'm not saying be stupid and slam it in but you have to be confident when striking this tool. Works great.

The FSA tool works better than expected since it was my first time installing a star nut. I always watch a you-tube video before atempting something new.

Good price and very useful if you need to do what it's for. My only complaint is that the threaded part is on the short side so if you're cutting a new fork/steer tube you either have to flip it around to tap the star nut deeper down or do multiple cuts on the steer tube (which nobody ever wants to do).

Nice tool that helped me set up my star nut after cutting my fork steerer. Worked like a charm. These tools can be pricey but are worth it when you need it done right.

This nut driver is really simple to use and places the star nut at the correct depth every time. I've used it on two different forks and for the price, you can't beat its simplicity. The threaded portion of the driver does come out of the stem so don't be surprised when it remains connected to the star nut after installation. It's not too big of a deal though.
