HE259 2-Power Setting Quiet Portable Fan

Great portable fan, we purchased it for power outages and for our hurricane kit, could not be more pleased with it's performance.

I will post a video of this at some point. Chassis was not screwed together properly, fan would freely fall open and closed. Very low quality fan guard which could easily be broken by accident - this is a delicate product.It has a 6 volt DC plug on the side, however no plug dimension specs are given so a customer can know what fits the product. No power requirement or any information regarding a compatible adapter on the selling page. They do however provide the current and power rating on a sticker underneath the actual product.This fan uses twice as much power as an existing O2 cool portable fan that we have and moves noticeably less air. Poor blade design, only two blades and the fan itself is a smaller diameter than it should be, even for its own case. It moves very little air for the amount of power and noise that it makes. Amazon had a hassle free return process, they returned the money and didn't even need us to ship it back to them. Very handy, but things like this make a large donation to any worldwide environmental concerns. The manufacturing process itself produces pollution and hazardous materials, then think for a moment about the billions or even trillions of products thrown out and then someone goes out and buys another one. Mass amounts of trash and junk everywhere. Yet somehow, we are in the recycle, reuse, save power and global warming craze - it make no sense whatsoever.We are meant to keep and appreciate the things that we have, not to be buying, just throw away and then buy another one. Too many companies these days just want to sell, make mass amounts of sales on smaller cheaper items instead of higher quality more expensive products to produce. It will keep their profits high and this is one way to do it. Not just this little fan or company, but all these types of items being sold out there.Instead, build good quality products that last, are safe and you can be proud of when you wake up in the morning.

Worked very well at an all day outing. I have MS and it helped keep me cool.

It's better than nothing, but not by much. Feels very lightweight and flimsy. Even on the highest setting, it does not produce much airflow. I would not waste your time or money on this HANSLIN HE259 2-Power Setting Quiet Portable Fan. Amazon was selling another battery operated fan that looked more promising, but I ordered it and they never shipped it. When I tried to order again, it was no longer available. I keep hoping they will bring it back. The brand was O2Cool, and it was a 5" Battery Operated Fan with Adapter and swivel grille. The Item model number was FD05010A0O008000. I wish Amazon would see this review and bring it back.
