Nice candle making kit with all the things you need to recycle any left over wax

All we needed to make candles (besides the wax, fragrance and jars; obvs) at such a low low price. There is no learning curve to master and it's all very simple to use. Could do with a larger size as this only really holds enough wax for one small-jar-sized candle at a time. However it retains heats super well meaning you can do candles one-by-one in no time at all. Have plenty of left overs and this should see me through for ages. I'll definitely be reusing this again and again rather than rebuying candles at ludacris prices.

I received my kit as a gift. As others have said, the double boiler is a little on the small side and a range of wick sizes would have been useful. Nevertheless, I was able to melt enough wax in one go to make one 8oz and one 4oz candle. The thermometer worked well and the clips to keep the wicks straight were very handy. Easy to use. Exactly what it says on the tin!

kit arrived when stated and is exactly as pictured by Amazon . In the past I have had nasty burns from both boiling water and wax because I did not use the proper equipment and also not taking any safety measures. Now my preparation kit includes a pair of goggles and heat resistant gloves, I also use a funnel with a small fine mesh in it to filter the hot wax , and I work on a glass surface which is easy to clean wax spillages from. I use the kit to make pillar candles from the remnants of pre-used candles . I half fill a pan of water and let it boil then place the melting pot on-top of the saucepan of water and add small amounts of wax at a time until melted. do not melt too much wax as it may spill in the pan of hot water and cause hot wax to spit everywhere.Before the pouring I had oiled the inside of the mould and placed the wick and wick holder into position in and on-top of the mould. When wax is melted I put on the gloves and fill the mould by pouring the wax through the funnel which filters the wax so not letting pieces of old wick and other nasties become part of your new candle. I wash the melting pan in washing up liquid after every use. hopefully the pan will last years and become well worth the money spent.

As a novice candle maker, this was pretty much my starter kit and was useful for me in that context.The wicks and sticky dots are great, the wick holders are invalauble and for a beginner the crucible was fine. But I quickly discovered it only held enough wax for two medium sized candles and have now bought a big jug, but I'm sure I will still use it, perhaps when ding small amounts of coloured wax.

Great as a starter kit. The pan is small and only holds enough wax to make one descent size candle but it’s all good quality stuff and has nearly everything you need. Good value for money for what it is but I did have to buy a jug separately for the job I needed.

The kit is quite nice and great if like me your only planing on making one or 2 small candles at a time however as there's no mention of wick size it didnt work well the the soya wax that i brought and caused tunneling. But thats because the wick isn't thick enough for the candle jar i was using.... when i used the same jar with paraffin wax it was fine. So i wouldn't use the wicks in a jar with a bigger diameter then 2" otherwise you'll need to use multiple wicks

Kit arrivato puntualmente. E' una confezione ingegnosa trattandosi di un pentolino per la fusione del cioccolato (come riportato sulla confezione!!) al quale sono stati aggiunti nella scatola gli stoppini, il termometro e gli altri accessori indicati. Il pentolino e' a doppio beccuccio ed e' perfettamente funzionale per la fusione della cera a bagnomaria. Consigliato per i primi passi nel mondo delle candele, ma anche per una bella fonduta di cioccolato sempre che si riesca a togliere tutta la cera residua....
