Disappoint, upset, and infuriated
Inside the Cardone factory, I envision a company slogan banner that says "PAINT IT BLACK AND PUT IT BACK"This is absolute garbage, trash. Where to begin... I was hoping that second time would be the charm, NOPE. If you choose to buy this and install it, I hope you have a 501(c)(3) on file because you will be working "nonprofit".The first unit I received appeared to be in good visible condition, installed following the included flushing procedure. Worked great, for a few days then lost power assist when turning right. reached out to amazon, they promptly exchanged the unit.When I received the second unit, I promptly removed the old and installed the new one. I'm getting pretty quick at this job! After the pitman arm was installed, I immediately felt notchy transitions from left to right when manually operating it. Continued to install. New unit has power assist but a MASSIVE dead spot on center and is extremely unpleasant to drive. I suspect it will completely fail in due time.Are these units even tested at the factory?? What is being tested? clearly nothing relative to its function as a steering box... 1 star because they do get a nice black paint job!

Great product and price
Seemed to good to be true for the price, but it works good and I got the healthy rebate check so I'm happy. I'd say major pita to install but that's on GM not Cardone. Great product and way better price than you'll find anywhere else.

Save your time and money.
Do your research, Cardone boxes are junk, installed gearbox even after noticing some suspicious looking "new" seals. It leaked and had more play than the box i was replacing.
