This is my third one over two decades. These covers work well, especially in hot sun drenched states. Amazing to me are the LED's and the solar panel. They last to the end. Get good rechargeable batteries and never leave the batteries in the solar panel if you store it.Actually anything you store, take out the batteries.So provide great shade, easy to open and close.

I feel like this is a decently built umbrella. Covered our whole balcony perfectly. That night time lights are not too bright and provide just the right amount for ambience. Overall we will see if the sturdiness holds up. If it does then it's a 10/10

While the look is nice.. the materials are cheap. The umbrella literally snapped in half--- conveniently right after the very short return window. Not worth the cost when it didn't even last a season. I'm sorry I bought online. In store would certainly return, exchange or refund your money. Learn from my mistake.

I had this umbrella for just over a year. I worked well, and was reliable. That is until about 2 months ago when it began to creek when being opened and twist past when it should despite being in a 40lb umbrella base and table. I came home on a bright sunny day yesterday to find it like this. It had failed at the joint where the winding handle is.Initially I was hesitant to buy the umbrella because people kept talking about the lights going out or it would break within months. The lights were fine on this and still are, they will turn on even when it is broken but the umbrella neither stands nor opens as the winding thing is pretty much shattered. And it lasted well with appropriate daily use but it should have lasted longer.I would buy another but i dont want to shell out a hundred dollars every year for something which should last at least 3. In the pictures you can see where it failed and where the metal was starting to bend from its turning and twisting. I wanted this to last so I made sure to close it and attach the velcro strap thing after EVERY use but it still failed.Several recommendations for the manufacturer, The winding handle joint has been shown to be the most fragile part of the thing based on it failing there, it shouldn't be made out of plastic. Why is it made out of plastic to begin with, this seems obvious to me. make it out of metal and reinforce it.Seems like a quick fix.Disappointed this was very unexpected.

When the umbrella was in the tilt position it got a little wind began causing the umbrella to bend completely in half. The lower pole was broke from the bend I had this exact same thing happen to us.
