Well made, sensitive about coffee grind
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to get around the issue of blocked pressure filter baskets on our 2014 Gaggia classic. It fits perfectly and is well made, but unfortunately, has a tendency to spray liquid all over the counter on occasions. The grind size and consistency of the coffee appears to be a critical factor, as pre-ground espresso coffee (Illy) works very well. The manufacturer does point this out in the product description, so I do not see this as a fault. As a temporary fix, I inserted the Edesia unpressurised basket into the original Gaggia portafilter, leaving out the plastic button. This satisfactorily eliminates both problems, but I shall experiment with different grind settings.

Lovely but messy
Looks really good. Same problem as others on here. Sprays everywhere and makes a mess. Will probably change the basket at some point, but it fits my haggis classic (old model) well.

My favorite portafilter!
After using this portafilter for a couple of months I can really attest to how brilliant it is.No it wont make your coffee taste any better but the experience and enjoyment I get out of making espresso with this is perfect! The build quality and especially the handle feel perfect and heavy, by far my favorite portafilter and the delivery was extremely fast.Overall an excellent product and would happily buy it again!

Looks great. Not built to last more than a few months
Starts of doing its job well, however the wood began to crack and break and the join with the metal after a couple of weeks. Personally I would avoid
