For its size, this little lamp is brilliant. Quite literally so. I needed something to help me out while painting new plaster in the storage void under my eaves, as I couldn't see to do the job, and this little lamp was perfect. It will also be great to keep up there, to help me search for items eventually stored up there. Or, it would be great for camping, or for keeping in the car in case of breakdowns, etc., or even just as a very decent, and pocketable, torch. I'm sure I'll get my money's worth out of it.

Pros:- Very bright on full power. Good battery life on low power. Variety of positions thanks to the adjustable stand/grip. Convenience of swapping 2 x rechargeable cells for 4 x AA batteries. Ability to use as a 5V/1A USB power bank.Cons:- Not waterproof/splashproof from the rear. Non-stainless fittings are corroding. Battery door is insecure and slides open easily. Would benefit from a magnetic mount. Short illumination range even on full power.Most definitley has its uses as a compact floodlight when working under a bonnet or under the stairs etc and for the money; can't complain too much.

Delivered quickly, bright light, Comes with non standard batteries but also takes AAs.

This review is for the Trongle LED Rechargeable Work Lights, 30W Floodlight. The first thing I noticed when receiving the light was that the battery cover fell off (as others have reported) as it is not properly manufactured and is too loose to fit and hence I will deduct a couple of points for that. I fixed that by putting electrical tape on the inside to make it wedge in tighter and charged the light which comes with a small USB cable. There are 2 rechargeable batteries in it which will give you an idea of the amount of power that can be delivered for the claimed specifications of the unit.On the positives it is a practical small unit where you need some additional temporary working light. It fits in your hand, to give you an idea of its size. Whist it does not have any magnetic holding surface but has the single ratchet stand which works well. It claims 2000 Lumens, but I seriously doubt that. I would say its about the brightness of a 5w LED bulb, but with all the light pointing forwards so hence how they probably can claim a higher lumens figure. Having said that its bright enough for jobs around the house and I found it quite a handy unit to keep around having used it a few times now, so hence even with its flaws I shall not be returning the unit especially as I got it at a reduced price, which it is regularly advertised at.

Really bright. Robust, I would recommend.

Used during a 7 hour power cut. Easy to recharge, useful adjustable stand.
