Interesting New Tool Concept
Reciprotools has created a way to harness the power of a reciprocating saw for more than just its primary role. A unique Universal Adapter allows the saw to file, clean, and scrub. The adapter is well-built, heavy, and sturdy. Tools attach firmly via a hex shank. The line includes 2 metal files (Half-Round & Rat Tail), 2 wood tools (Flat Rasp & Rat=Tail), 3 Brushes (2 Stainless Steel & 1 Nylon), a Cleaning Brush and a Cleaning Pad.Unfortunately, Reciprotool was aquired in 09/11 by Jore Corporation. The full line of these tools is difficult to find at the moment.

Great purchase.
I love the fact that someone thought of the adapter that could be used with these brushes. Works well for cleaning fencing before painting.

Great addition to his toolkit!
When looking for attachments for my husband's DeWalt Reciprocating Saw for Xmas, I came across this tool. He likes the fact that with the easy-on, easy off attachment (sold separately), he can easily change between several different tools quickly. The tool is made very well and not like some that have the 'flimsy' slotted, slide in end that tends to break after only one or two uses. Reciprotools are the best. Hope them come out with Blade attachments soon that have the same quick-attach end.

I didn't receive what was pictured when I ordered
The stainless steel brush that I received was a molded plastic with metal tip. It was not what was pictured. The bristles are flimsy and bend too easily for anything other than very delicate work. I let my wife go at the grill with my Porter Cable cordless 12 v clamp saw with this attachment. She likes it - so at least I'm getting something out of it.

NOT what is pictured! It is PLASTIC, NOT WOOD!
I bought this mostly for the fact the pictures all showed it as being a wood brush screwed to a very secure looking mounting bracket, a design I could very easily swap out other brushes or tools for with little effort. Additionally wood and metal handle many solvents much, much better then say...plastic. They also handle extremely hot metal (like metal that's just been welded) much better then say...plastic. You know, all the primary jobs people buy a metal brush for in the first place! The actual brush that arrived however, is a cheap PLASTIC, with the bit molded into it. There no way to adapt this to any other use, but furthermore there's a reason most every metal wire brush you find in a hardware store is built using wood and not PLASTIC!

Great Idea; Poor Execution
This thing sheds bristles like a Christmas tree in February. After 30 seconds of use, two of the holes had lost all their bristles which were now scattered across my workbench. The bristles are not molded into the plastic; they are pushed into holes in the plastic, and they come out easily.Don't waste your money.

OH YEAH!!
Use your saw with this on it to clean your BBQ pit grill and you will see how nicely it pays for itself first time out.I hate cleaning my grill but love to cook out. Had a cook out with friends broke this baby out, attached to my Recip. saw (cordless) all my friends laughed at my laziness...every darn one of them now own one. HA HA.

not what is pictured
As with others, I was looking for the item pictured - wood - not a plastic thing. I'm going to keep it because I will be able to use it just not with certain chemicals. Nothing in the description proclaims what the item is made of so I gave it 2 stars since it is good for limited use around the house - just not what the picture shows and not what I was wanting.
