Rombouts One Cup Coffee Filters 10's (8 Boxes)

Very happy with this coffee. Choosing the recycling version feels good.Buying in bulk is very helpful.

Very good beverage

If you like Rombouts Original as much as I do, it makes sense to buy this nectar in bulk! Incredibly easy to use and store, and worth every penny. If you've never tried this product, give it a go, particularly if you enjoy smooth coffee with a kick - it has none of the harshness I usually find present in most coffees.

Coffee flavour perfect, value perfect but do not like the recyclable cup or the fact that there are no lids. Original plastic cup much better by far.

We have used Rombouts single-cup filters for many years. The latest delivery of eight boxes has just arrived. I was surprised and pleased at first, to find that their traditional plastic filter, with removable lid, had been replaced by a "compostable" plant fibre-based filter cup. The old filter cups had to be disposed of in black-bag waste, presumably to landfill, so I thought this was an improvement.Unfortunately the new filter cups are not robust enough. When you add hot water to the cup, the mesh holding the coffee in the base of the filter seems to dissolve, and the coffee grounds float to the top of the water, clinging to the sides of the filter cup. This produces a weaker cup of coffee.Also the filters are wider and shallower than the plastic ones, and have no lid, so the coffee cools more quickly while filtering.I think this is a good move by Rombouts to reduce single-use plastic, but they need to go back to the drawing board.

Rombouts is my favourite coffee.They are unavailable in Ireland since Brexit.It is brilliant to get them via Amazon.
