I am genuinely thrilled with this headset. I recently purchased a new cell phone and decided to do all my talking via the use of a wired headset. Initially, I bought a cheapo (Insignia brand, for $9.99). The cheapo has poor sound (especially on the receiving end - the sound coming through the ear speaker is truly dreadful and almost painful), and is super uncomfortable, mostly due to the hard plastic piece that goes on the side of the head without the "headphone" ear piece.This wonderful MAIRDI is the complete opposite of that cheap one (and by the way I am not knocking Insignia products - what do you want for 10 dollars?). The sound is superb on both ends. People I call tell me my voice has never sounded so good, not even close. And on the listening end, not only is the sound beautifully clear, the signal strength is obviously much superior to a cheap headset. Previously, using the 10 dollar set, it was almost impossible to hear the words of one friend in particular whose cell phone is old and has a very poor signal strength on the microphone. With this Mairdi headset, I can actually hear everything he is saying with ease. Also it is remarkably comfortable. The ear piece is super cushy and is so much more comfortable than the cheap one I was using I fell in love with it immediately. And the other part that holds the headset on your head has a soft, wide, very comfortable piece which does not dig in to your head at all.The microphone on this set is of very high quality and is very sturdy and delivers great sound to anyone I call, and it's fully adjustable. For $30, you just can't go wrong with this beautiful headset. I suppose there are better sets out there, but from what I've seen from some pretty exhaustive research both online and in retail stores, it seems that you wouldn't really get any significant improvement in sound or comfort until you get into the over $100 range. Super Highly Recommended! Truly!

Keeping one as backup for when I break the first one but hasn't happened yet -- pretty durable considering lightweight construction. Great thing about it -- works on both my stupid phone and my laptop. Windows 11 and the Asus laptop just knew how to find the mike with no effort. Sound is not the best but works great for what it is, cheap and lightweight.

The mute button doesn't work all the time.One of the first things I test, is the mute button.I am on the phone a lot for work.I mute, if i have to cough, or people in the background are being loud.within the first hour of using....I would ask people if they could hear me, when I had them muted....and to my surprise three different calls said yes.Everything else about comfort and noise cancelling mic means nothing, if a basic mute button can't work.It is back to my V-MODA BoomPro Microphone. This Mic is as expensive as Mairdi headset...but you can use any headset that you can plug in a 3.5mm cable to.I now have it paired with an open back set of headphones, and it is perfect.I had a good closed set of headphones...but got tired of moving one of the headphone off one ear, so I wouldn't yell when talking. Open back is perfect, so that i can hear everything around me...and i no longer yell because i can hear my own voice.for those who are in the same boat I got the Philips Audio Philips SHP9500.so my total cost for headphones and microphone is $100 total. But I now have a setup that I can plug into my gaming consoles, and remove the mic if I am not using. Also music sounds really good. so more expensive...but really comfortable; and will use in more circumstances.

The headset was defective. Returned for refund.7/11/19 Update: The vendor contacted me and sent me a new headset that had been returned and could not be resold at no charge. I originally purchased the single ear piece style but was given the two ear piece style as a replacement. The new headset is well built and works with my Note 8 phone. The only downside is the headset is not fully duplexed so you can't hear yourself speaking. The vendor was very responsive and I would do business with them again.

The Mairdi headset is just what I wanted. It has a 3.5mm jack so it works on my smartphone or my laptop.The sound is great, no tinny sound or echo, and the sound transmission (the people on the other end of the calls) report outstanding sound quality.The headset fits over each ear with soft ear cushions. The band which goes over the head is adjustable. I found the headset comfortable. I use this primarily for business calls and I need a headset that I can wear for prolonged periods of time with no discomfort. This does a good job at being comfortable to use.The mike boom can be adjusted to be on either side of the head. You can rotate the boom up and out of the way.The connecting cord is long so if you are attached to a laptop with is stationary, you have lots of room to move about.The control panel is large and easy to use. There is a volume wheel and an on/off button. Please note that this will mute the mic on the headset. It cannot mute the mic on the phone or a laptop.I prefer a wired headset to a Bluetooth. No batteries to worry about charging, no connectivity issues. Good clear sound.

It's a nice headset, relatively comfortable, and good audio quality. However, I would never have ordered this if I knew the mute button only transfers the mic from headset to my phone. I expected a true MUTE button. I didn't want to have to fiddle with my phone every time I wanted to go on and off mute during a conference call.

Ich verwende das Headset mit meinem Fritzfon C6 und es funktioniert wunderbar (anders als in der Beschreibung angegeben). Besonders gut gefällt mir die Stummtaste; in einem Alltag mit vier Kindern einfach unentbehrlich. Ich musste sehr lange suchen, bis ich ein Headset finden konnte bei dem die Stummtaste und der Lautstärkeregler zusammen mit dem 3,5-Klinkenstecker funktionieren. Das Headset ist sehr bequem, lässt sich gut auf die Kopfform anpassen und macht einen stabilen Eindruck.

SO IMPRESSED, comfy fit so can wear all day, really good sound & so clear, extra long wire, mic mute, very happy and HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ja, ich gebs zu. Ich bin ein großer Junge und spiele trotzdem Onlinespiele. Und das am liebsten mit mit meinem Clan über Teamspeak auf dem iPad.Leider kann man auf dem iPad Teamspeak nicht temporär muten, ohne zwischen den Apps hin- und herzuspringen.Von daher benötigte ich ein Headset mit Klinkenstecker, kompatibel für iPad, welches mit Schalter temporär zu muten ist.Volltreffer! Kopfbügel lässt sich sehr gut anpassen. Tragekomfort geht auch bei längeren Sessions nicht auf die Schläfen.Ton und Mikro ist sehr gut.Lautstärkeregelung am Kabel ist ebenfalls gelungen.Habe das Headset aber nicht nur am iPad benutzt, sondern auch für Online-Meetings mit der Company. Sicher könnte ich mich in MS Teams über den Screen muten. Aber so habe ich den Schalter unter dem Tisch und keiner siehts ;) Ist ein bischen wie cheaten XDIch würde mich wieder für dieses Headset entscheiden.

Geluidkwaliteit gewoon slecht, ik heb het een dagje uitgeprobeerd, op telefoon en computer, maar geluid was onnatuurlijk en gewoon slecht te noemen. Ik vermoed dat ik een maandagochtend product had, aangezien algemene beoordeling goed is. Helaas toch maar weer retour en verder met de oortjes van de telefoon.
