Gorgeous doll!!
This doll is beautiful and so well made!! My daughter loves her so much! The backpack and clothes are a plus! Makes it easy to travel on planes, etc with "Dolly". Her hair is so long and lovely! High quality and soft! With a wire wig brush tangles come out really easily and it's like new! Holds up well to toddler play and styles well. Fabulous!!

I wish I had purchased another generation doll
The quality just isn’t there. I wanted to LOVE her and to be honest, my daughter does. However, she doesn’t sit up like other 18 in dolls, I have to prop her up so she doesn’t fall flat. She’s beautiful, but there is concern that she isn’t going to last as long as some of her other my generation dolls have, and they were a fraction of the cost of this one. I love that she came with a carrying case, super cute and her dress and extra clothes are of great quality. I just don’t know that I would purchase her again. Maybe I got a knockoff of this doll? I had read that in a couple of reviews. All in all, we’re keeping her, just wish she sat up better and didn’t feel so flimsy.

My daughter asked Santa for an American girl doll. She already has one and I wasn’t going to buy her another one so I figured this was the next best thing. It came in a nice box that flipped open and closed with a magnet. I liked that. Nice quality clothes. When she opened it on Christmas morning she loved it and didn’t notice the difference! The cons? When you open the lid you get a strong odor of chemical coming from the box. After removing her from the box and being out in the open for a bit that went away. Definitely didn’t linger long. Within hours of opening her my daughter somehow accidentally pulled the dolls eye lashes out on one eye. She’s almost 7 so she wasn’t yanking on them. That was a meltdown. When looking at the other eye they look as though they are set into the eye lid so I’m not sure how they came out. She couldn’t find them so now the doll has one eye without lashes. Oh well.
