Pro;The stickers are good quality, and self adhesives are much easier to use.The images without words are fun, and there are a lot of them. I’m probably able to use in crafts and not only for bookplates.Con; I bought this because I DIDN’T want “this book belongs to/from the library of” plates. I specifically picked this because I prefer a collection of “EX LIBRIS” plates. It’s a lot less babyish, in my opinion, and it’s shown in the picture. I have a problem with bad information, so only ONE plate design having that would have been a total deal breaker, the misrepresentation loses it two stars. I could just write Ex Libris in calligraphy on any sticker I like for zero dollars and false advertising is a pet peeve for... Well everyone, I think, so I’m adding pics of what you actually get here.

The media could not be loaded.  These looked SO cute, and while I’m currently going through a brutal divorce and have to sort out and pack all of my things from the last 19 years… I thought these would add some fun and whimsy to sorting and packing my huge book collection.They’re very cute, just vintage enough to catch my eye, and seem ideal. The problem is, they peel off the packaging like stickers, but are not sticky at all. I thought that perhaps they were more like traditional stamps, and had to be moistened or licked in order to stick.Nope. Definitely licked a bookplate that just doesn’t stick regardless.So, what’s the point? If I was going to just glue little illustrations with my name written on, I obviously wouldn’t have thrown away money and bought these useless things to exacerbate my frustration and misery due to divorce from an abusive man. What a waste.

I use in books that I give to friends, they are affordable. I have used them for several years.

I bought these for myself and once I got them, I immediately bought a second set for my mom. I think they're lovely, and she adored them too. They're well made, and beautifully illustrated. I just need a dozen more to get all my books labeled! Highly recommend these for frequent loaners of books.

I love these bookplates!! There's a good variety of sizes and they are all super cute! I think the price is worth getting 80 labels. They would make a great gift for any bookworm in your life.Looking forward to labeling all the books in my classroom.

There is no adhesive on these at all! Just paper that you have to glue into your books. (I even tried licking like an old fashioned stamp, but no: no adhesive of any kind at all!). What’s the point of that???
