Wonderful, must have if you have a small dog
I can not tell you how wonderful this product is. It was a life saver. My poor dog had a wound on his rear foot and needed to wear the dreaded cone. We had a black soft cone left over from a previous pet, so he didn't have to wear the hard one from the vet. However, my poor buddy sat in the kitchen and refused to move when I put his black soft cone on. For over twenty minutes. He just sat there. And then the crying started. He couldn't eat or drink with it, he couldn't jump on furniture with it, and fell on his face when trying to jump off the couch. He was miserable and we had to fix things. Well we found this cone and gave it a try and what a difference. He was so much happier with it. It's light weight, soft, he jumps up on the couch with it, eats and drinks with it, and can see so he's happier. He is 20lbs, and his neck measures about 15 and a half inches. I think I got him a medium, the one that goes to just over 15 inches and it fit great. I just popped it over his head and didn't really need to adjust the drawstring since he was so close to the top measurements. But it would have been easy enough to do. He was so much happier with this, and it worked great. He tried to get his foot, couldn't reach it and gave up. He used this cone as a pillow. I may buy more for gifts. It may sound funny, but this gave our dog peace of mind. He was so depressed by the other version for the two days we waited to receive this one. Buy yours now before you need it.I did not get any discount or benefit from this review. ( and please excuse his wild hair, groomers have been closed in our area due to the virus)Oh and it doesn't inflate, its a soft lightweight cushion.

Saved my sanity
This product saved me! I have a bengal cat (an extremely active breed)Plan A- Cone of Shame (nightmare)- First of all... he could get it off. When he did wear I was concerned he would end up in a kitty wheelchair due to the high speed and force he crashed into things. A small part of the problem was that the one the Vet provided was too big. In fact it was so big... it led to plan B.Plan B- Tutu of Shame- I decided to put the oversized cone of shame on my cat as a hard plastic TUTU. It was around his abdomen like a skirt. This worked except for the fact he is extremely smart and would run 90 MPH in between dressers, under furniture so that the skirt would come off. After 4 attempts of putting it backing on and trying to block areas he could use to get it off we decided to put him in his carrier with the tutu for the a few hours so we could sleep. Then we were up at 4 am.. obviously a tutu of shame doesn’t prevent you from having to use the bathroom.... .. then... the fun began again.... he was not interested in going to sleep. This led to plan C.Plan C- Kitty Diaper- This was a joke. Really... what was I thinking.Plan D- Total Body Suit - I got one of my husbands old t shirts... and made holes for his legs and tail... then tied it up in the back. I didn’t tie it tight enough at first and he got out a few times ... I needed to make some adjustments that involved Velcro and Duct tape ... but it worked! He looked homeless ... but it worked! The problem was he couldn’t use the bathroom so we had to keep taking him down and undressing him.As you imagine as I was skeptical of this recovery collar working when I received it. ( I ordered it out of desperation in the middle of the first night)But it is perfect! He hasn’t gotten it off. He doesn’t hurt himself wearing it. It seems comfortable and He doesn’t look homeless.I understand pets come in different sizes but this cone was perfect for my cat and he couldn’t lick his wounds. (He was neutered.)Thank you!

Worked for my over-grooming cat.
My indoor cat got fleas from a visiting dog and started over-grooming. I treated the fleas but she was still over-grooming and had spots she was basically bald. I ordered this and it fit fine. I like that it is soft and she can sleep with it on. It has a drawstring that worked until she chewed the strings off. Thankfully it still fit and stayed on without use of that drawstring. I used it long enough to break her OCD grooming habit. Her fur has made a complete comeback.

Very good but make sure to check ALL SPECS
Love this cone, but make sure to check their chart for ALL SPECS. What I mean by that is, don't just check that your dog meets the weight recommendation, or only the neck circumference dimension or only the diameter. Check all of them and make sure it'll work for your dog/needs. I have a 32lb corgi, so I ordered the XL. It fits perfectly over the neck BUT the overall diameter is a hair too small. If you know Corgis, you know they have short legs and even with the XL, my dog can still reach his toes (we bought this so he doesn't chew his feet when he's anxious). Luckily he has to stretch a bit to get to his feet so he has to really want to chew his feet so 90% of the time this cone works for our needs. But the point is, if we had gotten an XXL instead, it would be larger so he can't reach his feet, BUT it would probably be too big for his neck and fall off easily. I guess this product is mainly sized so the dog can't lick their torso or rear legs because any dog with normal length front legs will have full access. On the positive side, the neck opening is nice because it's a stretchy material that seems very comfy. Also the main body of the cone is a nicely padded and water resistant material so I have no problem leaving this on for hours because my dog can easily and comfortably sleep with it on.

Comfortable and easy to use
Comfortable, fitted perfectly, and our Cavapoo lived in it happily day and night for 10d after a leg injury, eating, walking around common etc on lead. Not big enough to stop him reaching rear end for imminent neutering, but next size up (large) would. Expensive, but glad we got it.

It was a no go
Loved the idea of the product, tried it on Chilli before her op, but unfortunately realised she would be able to lick her scar, still took it with me to the veterinarian, but it was a no and she ended up with the dreaded cone
