This is our family’s preferred candy snack. The flavors are delicious and the price is excellent for the size if the package.

I love chocolate candy and always have. Back in the 40's in Lewisberg, WV as a young girl, I remember thoroughly enjoying a Clark Bar or a Mounds Bar or even just a plain ole Hershey Bar. Of course, there were others I also enjoyed. And I've enjoyed having a chocolate bar on occasion all through the ages. But in 2015 I found out I was diabetic so I started eliminating sweets from my diet. I put Splenda and now Stevia in my coffee and tea, I use imitation sweeteners in my cooking and baking and I recently found out that my levels were no longer that of a diabetic. So I decided to indulge in some chocolate bars. I've always loved an assortment so I ordered the above bag of mini bars and when they arrived, I picked out several to try. Now I'm 82 years old and somehow my memory of chocolates was suddenly interrupted with a change in the taste of the chocolate in these little bars. They just didn't taste like I remembered and of course, tastes change all the time so I decided to ask our grown children what they thought, did they have an ideas? My daughter in Massachusetts is married to a fellow from Scotland and I've learned that people from Scotland can sometimes have a lot of dental problems because of their love of sweets. Our son-in-law is like a bottomless pit when it comes to good food and sweets; after all, he's a chef at a restauran. The consensus from her and from their family is yes, somehow chocolates do not taste as good as they used to and agree with me that they have a diluted taste. We don't know what has happened to our favorite candies so we are going to go on a quest to find some chocolates that taste like chocolates should. She gave me the name of one they've found and I will try one of those. This is very irritating to me. Why change a product when it was perfect to begin with? I'm sorry for having to write such a negative review as I've always thought buying a product that you were familiar with was the best idea. But when a person is on a fixed income and they spend their precious dollars on something that is not what the name means to them, then they have a right to be disgruntled. We gave the candy to our neighbors who love all kinds of sweets and they are most grateful. I'm really happy that they like the candy and sad that I was so disappointed!
