I have several Tacky fly boxes. These are goid. Just not as good as the older ones.

I like these boxes. I don’t wear a vest anymore, and I hate chest packs, so I end up putting my fly boxes in my pockets when I am on foot. These keep the bulk down while allowing for a good selection of well organized flies. For me the capacity is half of what is stated in the advertising. I don’t fish many flies smaller than a sixteen and the boxes would be too crowded with two flies per slot with anything bigger. The silicone is holding up well.

For me the size is perfect. I carry four fly boxes most of the segregated by mayflies, caddie, midges, and terrestrials. Single compartment with silicone pad is perfect

Great little box, but a little overpriced. I really love this thing, however I feel like it could be a bit cheaper so I’m docking a star for value. I’ve tried a few others and this one is definitely my favorite, so I’d still recommend picking one up. If you can get it on sale even better!

My first purchase of a Tacky fly box after having used many brands and types over the past 40 years. They work well to hold the fly securely. I will be buying more in the future.

I have one of the original Tacky Day Packs and they are great little pocket boxes. It's easier to carry 2 of these small boxes (one dries and one nymphs) than one larger box.However, this box seems off a bit. First the cover has a smoke look to it, not the clear all other Tacky Day boxes have. The material inside does seem the same either, it's a bit harder of a rubber. It holds the flies fine, but not a grip like my other Day Pack. Also not all the slits are cut completely. After fixing that with a razor blade all my flies fit great. I guess i will let the smoke look help distinguish my boxes. Still it seems like a knock off of the Tacky boxes from Fishpond USA.
