It's pretty good if you know how to use it. Emphasis on the if. It does take a little bit of practice and skill to make sure that a fire is lit every time you strike the flint. My only gripe is I wish the transparent slot was larger so you could fit your ID in there.

Ok.Firstly, the wallet is well made. It's reasonable quality leather and the interior of the wallet has enough slots for your DL, credit card etc. to sale the "show" portion of the "illusion."Secondly, the "gimmick" part of the wallet is very solid and well constructed. This wallet should last awhile with no issues.Thirdly. the magnets. I see negative comments about these. Don't listen to them. They are fine. You don't want them too strong. They are strong enough. Closing the wallet to extinguish the flame and then hand manipulating the wallet for the "show portion" of your routine will be plenty enough to keep the gimmick side shut. No issues here at all. Practice this in front of a mirror a few times and you will realize just how easy it is.Fourthly, I see negative comments about the wallet not lighting. I did not experience any issues. I have performed this routine about ten times and its batting 100%. After you soak the pads with fluid, close the wallet and allow the fumes to permeate the gimmick side. This only takes a minute. This helps tremendously during the ignition phase of the routine.Fifthly, it's all about the story and "selling" the illusion. the wallet mechanics aren't that hard, but if you don't tell a good story and sell the illusion... it's not ever gonna be what you want it to be. Some people are better actors than others. If you are not naturally a good BS'er. Then you need to PRACTICE more.Lastly, you may fail this wallet..... but this wallet won't fail you. I love it. It's a good gimmick but not great for EDC which is what I wanted. It's a big wallet but my credit cards barely fit, and my ID doesn't fit in the window pocket like it should, it hangs out of one end. What's this pocket for? A playing card is bigger than an ID

Extremely difficult to get the fire to start. The rest of the wallet is solid. A little bulky, so may not be ideal for daily use for some people.

Works as expected, however I did find the magnetic closure to be very weak and unreliable.

Absolutely terrible proportions! This wallet is so obviously fake at first glance because it is WAY TOO BIG - like a joke! The license window is SQUARE??? WTF??? The gimmick doesn't hide properly. I had another brand fire wallet I picked up at Universal Studios Florida years ago that was SOOO much better. I wish i could find it again. The wallet I bought at Universal actually bent/wrapped completely around the wick area on all 4 sides and sealed magnetically so it was completely hidden. You could hand the wallet over to someone to inspect, and not once did anyone ever find trick area on their own. You could never do that with this wallet. The leather is nice, but the design is terrible.

Will be going back. It is huge! And super fat. The gimmick does not seal so the "fill" only lasts a few hours. I had one years ago that I wore out. Worked for two days (about 5 or 6 lights) it was thin and the gimmick sealed on all 4 sides. This is so big I can't slide it in an out of dress pants. It's a battle. The credit card slots are too narrow, and the id window is square! After you struggle to get it out the suspicion is set, then you produce this honker, the flame is big! And cool. Show the inside, a woman might not see it but a man would not be caught dead with such a poorly formatted wallet. Now I have to say the wallet construction is great, and if you are a big boy (300+) and are working where you can prep when you want then this might work. I am 180 lbs and use these in a store to catch a cashier off guard. If I can find what I used to have I will update this with the link.

The wallet was very good addition, was able to use right away and stunned my first person a old buddy and the waitress.
