Secrets of the Vine Bible Study

Read the book when I was going through some difficulties and it caused a mindset shift! Last year I used this Bible study book in a group setting- the response was amazing!

My Pastor is doing a series about John 15 and I decided to study it at home too. I had to go back and buy the book because it asks you to read certain chapters of the book. So you probably could just do scripture and this book but you may not get all you want out of it that way. Truly is a good study.

This was a companion book to the book "Secrets of the Vine". If you have never read that book, it is a must. To understand exactly what Jesus meant when He said that He is the vine, we are the branches, and His Father is the Vinedresser. Our terminology is different so we don't always understand what He is saying, and if you have never been around or seen an olive bush, or tree, whatever it is, you might not understand the full meaning of His Words.

I’m only on day 4 of this bible study but so far I am loving it. I have a NLT so it doesn’t go perfectly along with it but I’m still able to follow.

We are doing a study with neighbors. The first evening we decided to use the Vine book. I ordered the leader guide and it has been very, very useful in guiding the leader through prepping for the group.

What does it mean when I hurt? This little book explains the difference between the process of discipline and pruning. As it hurts just as much either way, how can I know the difference? It shows how God is determined that our lives will show fruit, not just a little, but lots! It comforts us to know that we are his children if he is going to the trouble of either process.

I wanted to do a short study on the life of Jesus, and this book has answered my desires.Jesus Words to His disciples just before He is going to depart from this world, are of most consideration from anyone who is seeking truth and more truth!
