I wear these shoes in the lazy-river pool at my local rec center but look forward to wearing them on sandy, rocky beaches. They are lightweight and the soles are solid but flexible.I have short, wide, feet, and it is a challenge getting shoes that fit me properly. The shoes are good for both women and men, but the size conversion is based on women's shoes. According to the description of how to fit them, a man would buy a size and a half larger than his regular shoe size. I typically wear a size 7XW in men's shoes. I bought the 8 1/2. They were not too narrow and fit perfectly. No break-in time. They were comfortable right away. My toes are close to the end but don't touch. I feel that the next size up would probably be too large. They hug my ankles nicely without adding any pressure. They are very comfortable an are working out well for me.

I got these shoes wanting to try out barefoot shoes before spending a lot of money on a pair. So far I love wearing these while working as a nurse in a nursing home. I have tried them out running once and it hurts when stepping on rocks! I had to stay focused to dodge rocks! I did notice I am not used to using some muscles in my feet and were sore after but it will just take some getting used to. So far these shoes are great and I plan to order a black pair too.

I have a torn hip labrum and some shoes can flare me up, I got these in desperation after a pair of Columbia shoes did that. I needed something for hiking trails in Maine in the rain. These shoes are amazing!!! The flexible sole allowed me to get a good grip on the rocks, plenty of room for feet/toes to spread out. I had no flare ups with these at all. I'm honestly considering ordering another pair just for back up. I wore socks just bc it was cold, they dry very quickly, love how they can fold up and fit so well in the suitcase

I'd like to swim in a lake or ocean but often there are sharp stones that hurt my feet so I bought water shoes for this reason. Yes, they work for it but while walking on the sand I got some sand inside - Getting the sand out of shoes is very difficult! - I had to rinse them many times. Though the shoes are good for swimming - they don't slip out of feet, and they look sturdy and nice.

These shoes were packaged in a clear plastic bag! This unacceptable packaging is becoming a common at Amazon. I rated the delivery 5 star because the driver followed instructions. The packaging is not the delivery person’s fault. There is no way to rate Amazon packing. At minimum, the packaging needs to be indicated in the product description.Generally, I like bare foot shoes because they have a wide toe box. My foot is wide so they are comfortable for casual wear. I would not run or power walk in these but they work for casual wear. The fit of this specific shoe is roomy on my 7W foot as I expected. The shoe size indicated was 7-1/2. Although, I really like the dark blue color of these, I prefer the fit and feel of another brand ( SAGUARO) that I purchased recently on AMAZON. If you have a normal foot, you may want to order a smaller size.I am not sure if I will keep these.

I really like these shoes except for they did cause a big blister on my left foot (toe) due to rubbing all day at the water park. I could tighten them as much as needed and they never got loose. I do think after a lot of use the velcro might not stick anymore but that has not happened yet. Very little sand got into my shoes at the beach. My other water shoes would weigh down with sand.

I LOVE this shoe. I just ordered another pair in another color. I have received compliments every time I wear them. I ordered the white with the zig zag grey. I think they come a little large in size. I normally order a size 6 and since they didn't have a 6 I ordered a 6.5. They were too big and I reordered in a size 5.5. I work in the Tradeshow field and I'm constantly on concrete. I always put insoles inside my shoes, and did that with this shoe. After the insole they fit perfect even ordering the 5.5. After I put insoles in the the support was perfect.

This fit true to size! They have nice cushioning so I don’t feel anything poking my feet when I’m wearing them. They do seem to hold a little water so I just put them on my shoe dryer. I think that’s a trade off for the nice cushion on the sole. No big deal to me! I’d buy again!
