This Wire Is Incredible!
This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a review of a product. I read tons of reviews before making a purchase, but have never written one myself. This wire runs buttery smooth with no spatter. I don't understand the negative comments. It shipped fast and at a more than reasonable price. I will definitely be ordering more products from this company going forward.

this stuff works great!! Less quality than Lincoln 71m but overall a great dual shield wire. When used correctly it punches into the metal like 7018. Don't understand the bad reviews on this wire. Those complaining that this wire is crap, probably because they aren't experienced enough to adjust settings to find "the sweet spot" I've used this wire off of an engine dirve, the shop and my backyard. Machines vary and it doesn't take much to adjust settings

Not vacuum sealed, moisture, porosity issues.
Product welded fine in flat and overhead positions however in the vertical up position I encountered extreme porosity to the point I had contacted blue demon and they were no help at all. They questioned my base material and welding machine multiple times even after troubleshooting. I switched in a spool of wire from another manufacturer and it ran perfect, along with hard wire, so I know my gas welder and all other parameters were correct, this wire is absolutely garbage. I weld for my own business everyday and I cannot deal with substandard manufacturing. Will never use a blue demon product again. I'd heard only good things but I guess they pay for that reputation. Service Representatives have no idea about welding procedures in the slightest. Only by vacuum sealed wire as it has a much longer shelf life and you never know how long it's been sitting. Also plastic spools cannot be rebaked so this wire is garbage as I cannot risk the integrity of my jobs to a substandard consumable.

Awesome stuff
So im not real sure about other people having bad experiences and what not with this wire, because for me its been nothing but great. Im running this on a Miller Multimatic 215 and its been fine. Keep in mind though, im not running this stuff to keep the lights on either. This is being used in my garage just practicing and building small/medium projects. I will say one thing, this wire burns HOT haha. I just wasn't prepared because i have never run a dual shield wire before and let me say it's pretty fun! Just make sure you have some pretty thick gloves! Overall, the wire feeds nicely, very little if any spatter "this will depend on getting your settings right though", and it's really strong stuff.Like i said, Im not sure where the bad comments come from but for ME, nothing but good on my end. Also shipped super fast, and priced perfect. In my opinion if you have been wanting to try dual shield flux core, give this a go. You will like it.

I tried it, not good
Well I tried this wire because of the price and it got some good reviews, but it didn't work for me. I asked some questions online, thank you everybody for getting back to me. I did change polarity, it just puddles up way too much. the wire I get from Harbor Freight Works wonderful so I guess I'll stick with that plus I can't return this past the window. all I can say is buyer beware.

Runs great in my Vulcan Migmax 215
This wire runs perfect in my Vulcan Migmax 215. I weld 3/16 mild steel with machine set on F-7.2. It runs smooth and spatter-free. And no, the machine is not maxed out. If you have a migmax 215 and want to weld smooth an nice hot welds, this is the wire for you. I am running 75/25 gas at around 27cfh. I am very impressed with the way it burns in. For the price this is excellent wire. I also have a Lincoln sp175 plus that I am thinking of trying it in. This wire is like a 7018 rod. Welds are ductile and easy to run. If you work on trailers, you need to use this stuff. It makes nice looking and stronger welds than solid wire. Bead appearance is smooth and flat. Slag is light and easily removed. Just a great wire for the around 200 amp class of machines.

Splatter
Weld ability is good , only complaint is the splatter situation is a little excessive I think while using 75/25 cover gas . For the money it’s do able . Just expect a little clean up work.

Blue Demon Gas shielded Flux Core welding wire.
I have used gasless flux core and mig and am trying this wire with a dual-mix on various small fabricating and repair projects. It's a bit of a learning curve of course but so far it works great. I have done some cut and etch and test bends and it is every bit as good or better than the gasless flux core without the smoke. Highly recommend this product at a great price Update. I have used several rolls now and very happy with the results. You definitely need a wiper on the wire as there is a bit of a black oily looking residue, probably corrosion protection. I use folded microfiber cloths cut from Dollar store washcloths fastened with spring clamps. Make sure the tip is in good shape with no wear. Unfortunately it's apparent some people only read "Flux Core" and ignore the " GAS SHIELDED " part. Used as designed it works great!! It DOES NOT work well without gas or proper voltage and wire speed set up!!

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
Don’t be like me and let the price convince you to buy this. You get what you pay for, absolute garbage. I have a brand name mig and still could not get this to work in any way regardless of heat and speed settings. No way at all to run a decent bead and the amount of spatter given off is ridiculous, you might as well be holding a firework in your hand. DO NOT PURCHASE. Only gave one star cause I had to.

The Good, The Bad, Just Okay
The Bad…from the start I was having wire feed problems it’s a poorly wound roll and it was pulling wiring from the middle of the spool .The Good….I was using my HTP Propluse which has synergic setting for this type of wire and it ran very smooth and spatter free along with a very nice looking bead .Just Okay…After doing some test welds on both 1/4 and 3/8 Plate I decided to some cut and etch samples and found the results to be less then spectacular , played with machine settings going as high as 30volts and still no root fusion ..If it’s a pretty bead your after this wire works great for that , if it’s a strong weld your after on thicker plate and your machine is under 220 amps then go with self shielded flux core
