I’ve never smelled something so bad in my life! Palo Santo smells like cigarettes inside a portal potty. Dragon’s blood wreaks too! Only one I think smells tolerable and am keeping is Sandalwood. I threw the other two boxes in a box to ship back and return. I can’t get the stench off my fingers even after washing my hands. I’ve been eating ginger candy all afternoon to stop myself from throwing up. Gotta also throw away the burnt one outside your house or else the smell will linger. I’m traumatized!

I have not worked with back flow cones before so i may be mistaken. Yes, the back flow works as long as the hole in the cone is over the hole in the fountain. The smoke will still continue to come from the burning top part too. It burns fast. You need a 'hot' bowl to keep dumping the ash cone. It also sparks quite a bit. I find that a safety concern. I keep the fountain isolated which sort of negates the purpose of having it. These are reasonably priced cones. Not a great palo santo smell, but it is a pleasant smell. You burn through these quickly. So am keeping my options open and looking to see if this is normal or if there are less sparky and longer lasting cones out there.

I wanted a more pure Palo Santo fragrance. The smell of this incense gave me a headache. Aside from the scent, the cones are perfectly shaped, burned perfectly, and the back flow effect is beautiful.
