Perfect book if you have a new vibrating plate
This book is great. It tells you all of the benefits of using the vibrating plate in complete detail. It also shows exercises to do with with a vibrating plate. This is not just for seniors. This book would be great for anyone.

Very thorough discussion
I recommend this book for any beginner. The discussion of types of vibration plates to consider was very clear and helpful. The analysis of scientific articles really made clear for me that seniors, who start slow and keep it simple, can benefit greatly from whole body vibration.

It's -great- to have such a book to provide evidence for vibro machines' good effects...
It was also good to read that some people need to start off very slowly to get used to it, and that it's not good to use if you're going to be jiggling broken bones. I was just a little disappointed in the practical applications/tips at the end. I've been using such a machine for several months (largely for help with stiffened shoulders), and there are so many ways one can get at a problem that weren't mentioned. Use your imagination! (and consider props such as balls, canes, and foam rollers). In any case, it's a great way to exercise, and relax, as well a bone-stim.

Very informative
Well researched and written. The application of WBV meets a verity of needs on a, physical, mental, and spiritual basis. I will recommend it to others to consider as a tool to achieve optimal health. Peace and Blessings BMJ

Book isn’t necessary to use vibration plate
In my opinion this book was written so the author could sell her brand of vibration plates which are way out of my price range. I got a few pointers from it but for the price it really wasn’t worth it.

Answered all of my Questions
I was beginning to feel and walk like the 67 year woman that I am. I bought a good vibration machine but was concerned about mixed comments of use of whole body vibration by older people. The book answered all of my questions. It includes step by step instructions and I love the renewed energy and sprint in my stride!

WBV an amazing healing force.
I really appreciated Becky Chambers book - Whole Body Vibration for Seniors. In my younger days I was a ballet dancer and instructor, dance excercise, Jazz and Modern dance instructor. I am 66 years old and my body cannot do the things I use to. I still excercise but Becky has really explained how my WBV machine is a powerful benefit to my exercise program. Also her careful guidance and health knowledge as a Naturapath helps one respect exercise as something to be done slowly and built upon. Her book really helped me understand what my WBV machine can do. Thanks Becky!

Good book, better than her first book. For Seniors, just buy 2nd book.
