I'm a big fan of NOLS and while they do a lot of great work, this isn't one of them
I'm all for LNT and environmentally friendly backcountry stays. But the majority of this book is telling you WHY you need to be concerned about LNT and not HOW to LNT. I know the why. I want to know the details on how. It's also very repetitive and preachy. I'm a big fan of NOLS and while they do a lot of great work, this isn't one of them.

Good introduction to LNT principles
This book is a good introduction to the principles of Leave No Trace. It is written very much based on practice and situations in North America and Canada which is where the movement started. There was some talk of a UK specific LNT guide being put together which would be a good development.
