Great product. I've never been very good with ps4 controllers and playing different games I constantly had to adjust settings. I get owned playing all of the battlefield games and always have. Too many damn settings to try and figure out with a controller I was already terrible with to begin with. I got the app did the download etc and played battlefield 5. The first 30 mins I DID NOT LIKE THIS. Then I realized if you turn off the uniform aiming, turn soldier aim to 100% aim down sights to 200% and turn off the controller acceleration it gets rid of the lag or that odd feeling everyone complains about. Use the mouse dpi setting to adjust your look speed and, boom, game on! If you suck with a mouse and keyboard too, you will absolutely suck on here. This isnt some modded auto aim and auto fire "I'm gonna win every game" device. It's just for people like me who are more comfortable using a mouse than those sorry controllers ps4 make you deal with. I still die more than I kill, but at least now I can shoot the guy shooting me and sometimes win the battle, to where before I would just over correct back and forth and miss like wild then get wasted. I still suck, just not as much lol. It recognizes this as a ps4 controller so it can do anything that your controller can do, and it can't do anything your controller can't do as well. No rapid fire, no aim assist, no programming button sequences for fighting games etc. I did however end up using my own mouse just because it is much better than the one in the box. You do lose the ability to use the app for mouse related controls if you do that. I didn't really need the app features other than to switch the button profiles for the different games. Also you can key bind your own configurations and it will work on any ps4 game, though you may have to make a profile for it. Most top games are already programmed in it. Good stuff and officially licensed as well.

At first, I was put off by all the bad reviews. But I took the plunge and couldn't be happier (besides still having pocket change left ha) If you expect this device to be ready to use straight out of the box; move on now. It requires connection to its app to update and program keys and mouse sensitivity. It's a in depth process but once you get it down it's well worth it. I found just being able to plug it in to the PS4 without expensive adapters and whatnot to be a massive plus. Even with all those positives, the big glaring negative is its price. The overall package feels pretty cheap and I doubt would survive a fall from an average sized desk without snapping into pieces. So, make sure to pad your room, haha.

Works great on PS4 and PC. For PS4, you just HAVE to take the time to get all your mouse sensitivities right for each game , using a mix of the HORI app and your in-game settings (basically turn your in game sens all the way up and fiddle with the HORI app till you get the feeling you like).Generally it'll make your aiming better, but movement will take some getting used to: the "Quick" button will help a lot in this regard, to make speedier turns while running. I really cannot stress this enough, TAKE THE TIME TO GET YOUR SETTINGS RIGHT. A lot of people complaining here really haven't taken the time to figure out their settings. They don't actually explain what any settings do, but tinker around and you'll figure it out. Works really well for COD, but I really can't recommend it for Destiny/Destiny 2, the aim assist makes using this really hard (its doable, but really, just use a controller for Destiny or play on PC cuz cross-save is a thing now and it's awesome switching between PS4 and PC seamlessly).Since getting this for PS4 (or probably because I got this for PS4), I've actually made the jump to PC gaming, with a mid-high range gaming laptop.. I highly recommend this (or any other game pad) for laptop FPS gaming, as using the built in keyboard on a laptop is really hard otherwise. The HORI works really well for PC too! (Just switch to PC mode with the toggle on the bottom).Oh and with PC mode selected, you can use this as a keyboard/mouse for any PS4 games that support native KBM, like the new COD Modern Warfare or Overwatch. It reacts MUCH better as a KBM in this mode, but you can only use it with games with native KBM support.

This is a re-review of this item. I used it for a short time, and it just stopped working. I restarted the playstation and then it worked again. then it just stopped again.I switched back to the original mouse... same thing. Skip this item and find something else. It's expensive and it does not work.---Love it! I use this with my playstation. If you don’t like the mouse, you can use any mouse, and not just this one. It’s a good mouse, but that is a personal preference. I ended up not using the mouse, and using something else.As for the pad, it is so much better than a keyboard because not only is it marked, but it is ready to use. I use it with Skyrim and I can program the buttons in Skyrim. You are supposed to be able to modify the buttons directly, but I have not tried that yet.

If your looking to use MnK on ps4, then this is what you’ll get. This does not act as a proper mouse or keyboard, however it emulates a ps4 controller. So if you are looking for something that FEELS like mouse and keyboard, you won’t find it with this device. However this device does serve its purpose, however I do not think it’s going to live up to everyone’s initial expectations. Mouse movement is very weird. Again, it emulates the ps4 controller, so mouse movement is not going to be precise as it would be in traditional mouse and keyboard. The mine keypad it self is decent. The app makes keybinding very simple, being able to have multiple presets for different games is a nice feature. If your looking for a mouse and keyboard just to have a mouse and keyboard, this will do the trick. If you are looking for a device for high end FPS gameplay, this just isn’t going to cut it for you.
